1.
PM me if you want some mushrooms.
On toast? I love those creamy Chesswood ones
2. Nils bought my Ampeg 610. Top chap, no hassles. Deal with confidence and all that
3.
It was light compared to the Maple bodied Squier that was my main bass at the time, probably about the same as my Alder Precision
The MD body is ash, which I think is lighter than Alder. Any-hoo, I thought it a very light bass
4. You might be able to knock them down, as there's a couple of dings on the back
5.
Nice bass, great sound on that clip, am mega-envious.
Didn't think much of the drummer
6. I played a white one in Wunjo, and it felt bloody luvverly. Nothing like the MIM one I had. Was very much like some CS ones I've played. Should've plugged it in, really!
7. My first pedal (floor) board. Used these last week at my first gig in years. Not pictured is my DHA VT1 which I'm planning to use as a clean boost. I use the EQ channel on the SVT for the bit EQ, and it's thump-tastic
8.
Don't suppose you would want to trade for an 810 ampeg ?
Thanks, but no thanks
9. Not sure, last I heard the Doc was sorting the PG
10. Kicked off my gigging career with this lot last week..
11. GK MB 200 here, and it keeps my stink out the PA
12.
Better still, the butcher's wife. There was a young man with a sticker put 99p on a Ritter So then a young lass Slapped him on the ass, saying "... ..."
It'll cost you that for a look at my Ric-ers
13.
Under good old 'invitation to treat' legal rulings I don't think a shop has to sell at a price that's displayed so, if I'm correct, he could have refused your 'offer to buy' at the displayed price
Curses! That foils my plan to go down to Bass Gear and put some 99p stickers on the Ritters.
14. I love the look of these things. I think Paul Gray from the Damned played one for a while. When you say it's light for a guild, what is the weight? How would you describe the neck profile, and what is the nut width? Plus, how would you describe the sound, P, Gibbo, Ric?
15.
Angle-on-the-Wrist. It's a small village in Gloucestershire.
It's not far from One-off-the-Wrist.
16.
What will your memory be like at the age of 79 ?

What? Where's my cocoa?
Half past seven.
17. Wow! Walnut-glow. all the wood is on display, so that really is the best of the best. Happy anniversary!
18. There're no rules here. I'm a life long pick player, and there is no prescribed technique other than you find the one that is good for you and you hold it in a manner most comfortable for you. There is no magic that stops you dropping them, glue or otherwise. We all drop them from time to time. At least in looking for the one for you, it wont break the bank. Unlike the quest for a bass and amp.
19. Played my 1st gig in around 15 years tonight and it was like coming home. We ripped up a storm in Mill Hill for the National Chopper Club. It was the first time we'd played (with me) and after only 3 rehearsals. We did 2 hours, in which time I did loads of f***-ups, not that any of it mattered. I was dead happy to be rocking obbm cables, the pedals I'd bought on forum advice, the BC bought SVT pro II and Purple Chili cab with the Eminence driver I'd put in myself. And of course the cool as f*** Coronado. We had lights and a sound guy too, not that the monitors mattered as the drummist is so loud. We even got an encore, and the organiser asked for Blues in A, as the Singist plays the gob-harp. It was grand to be messing on with A,E and D while a bunch of real McCoy Bikers grooved their thang. Priceless. From tonight we've hopefully got a couple more gigs for the NCC, so I'm made up as my life's passion is a dead-heat between bass and bikes. But the next step is to practice so we all finish the songs at the same place
20. I had a very decent offer on this cab, but the distance to travel was just too far. I'll drive 75 miles one way and 75 back from Slough I'll try and get more pics up, but I'm flat out with band stuff. It looks identical to an Ampeg 610 HLF in good nick, wearing a (what looks like proper Ampeg) black padded fitted cover that has a small amount of mojo.
