Grateful to have tried many weird and wonderful basses - owned a precision, a jazz and settled for a lovely USA G&L L2500 (going strong for 12 years)* - but have never held a Stingray! How much am I missing out?? *although secretly the bass I play most is a Sue Ryder P with flats 🙌

I've used a TH350 with a Barefaced Compact for about 8 years (it's hard to imagine needing anything louder before you'd be plumbing into a PA system anyway) It's been bounced around in the front pocket of my gig bag and never missed a beat. They're very well built.

Mine's still getting gigged with it's original decal proudly on show. 😎 Punters don't care, musos love it!

TC Electronic RH450? I seem to remember these being incredibly popular - and then suddenly not so much. Was there a whole scandal over wattage?

I've owned this from new since 2012/13 and it's bomb-proof. It's big enough for a moderately sized pedal collection with cables etc - and It comes with a handy board for velcroing pedals onto. Happy to offer to you for £50 plus postage, or I can drive a short way for a safe delivery/hand-off. These are £110 new from Flightcase Warehouse Because it's quite heavy it'd probably be best to collect or arrange a hand-off etc. Stickers are removable!

The EHX Attack Decay is probably your best bet for a pedal solution See demo from about 2:40 https://youtu.be/fUmS4FLXMMQ

This is a fully-featured analogue monosynth with a two oscillators and a sub oscillator, a great choice of filters and a nice arpeggiator, amongst other things I'm the original owner and it's been stored in it's blue Novation soft case for several years, with only the occasional use! I also have the original power supply and instruction manual! Happy to offer to you for £250 plus postage, or I can drive a short way for a safe delivery/hand-off. Thanks for looking

As part of a gear clear-out I'm looking to sell my TC Electronic SpectraComp! This is a multi-band studio-grade compressor with all the features you'll ever need disguised as a tiny one-knob pedal. Using TC Electronic TonePrint app you can change the setup of the compressor and pick some a large range of settings from TC and other bass artists like Nathan East, Ida Nielson etc. If you plug in to your computer, you can edit all of the settings using the TonePrint editor software (Mac and Windows): I'm the original owner and it's been stored in a flight case pedalboard for several years, with only the occasional use! I even have the ORIGINAL BOX and TC Electronic sticker! Happy to offer to you for £40 plus postage, or I can drive a short way for a safe delivery/hand-off. Thanks for looking

As part of a gear clear-out I'm looking to sell my Sonuus Wahoo! This is a pretty unique pedal that offers unparalleled control and expression for creating filter and wah sounds. It can emulate any filter or wah effect you want, and you can store settings as presets and switch it up on the fly. You can make your bass say any vowel sound you like. It's not for the faint-hearted though. Essentially it's two analogue filters and an overdrive circuit, controlled digitally. It comes with 100 presets and space for 100 more. You can change most of this on pedal itself but the real magic happens when you use the software. It comes to life when you plug it in via USB to your computer and control via the software (Mac or Windows). For the sake of keeping this post relatively short, I'll just link you here: I'm the original owner and it's been stored in a flight case pedalboard for several years, with only the occasional use! Happy to offer to you for £120 plus postage, or I can drive a short way for a safe delivery/hand-off. Thanks for looking

As part of a gear clear-out I'm looking to sell my Electro Harmonix Bass Big Muff Deluxe! This is the classic Bass Big Muff circuit with extra handy features like: XLR out Clean/direct output Input pad for more control over the clipping Noise gate (works a treat) 'Crossover' mode splits the signal to output a clean low end with a distorted top end - the two filter controls let you control the tone of the clean sub and distorted top It's a fantastic pedal and a bit of a steal at its retail price. I've just never had the gigs to use it regularly. I'm the original owner and it's been stored in a flight case pedalboard for several years, with only the occasional use! Happy to offer to you for £70 £60 plus postage, or I can drive a short way for a safe delivery/hand-off. Thanks for looking

BUMP! Happy for anyone to pick up any one of these and enjoy and a cuppa in sunny Lincoln 😎 They've not got much time left - they won't make our next house move in a couple of months!
-
These both look ace! Clearly I haven't been paying attention! What's the idea behind the three split pickups? It's got a humbucker in the neck too?
-
Has this gone unnoticed somehow? Quite an interesting design! Short-scale semi-hollow PJ with blades and the J in the neck position. Would love to try it out!

To sell or not to sell? (to fund new gear obvs)
Ben Jamin replied to Ben Jamin's topic in General Discussion
😂Yep! I don't think I can offer any more wisdom than the 3,769,657 posts already on this site before this one! Maybe I should just flip a coin? -
That's an awesome colour! Enjoy the bass! Aaaand now I'm looking on Andertons too 😂

That's the thing yep, I can't invest much in gear at the moment - maybe a little - but selling the pedals is the only real way of getting the capital. I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth holding onto these things if I haven't used them in years and I think a second bass would be handy - or whether I've just got GAS and will regret selling stuff!
