Welcome. Why sell the drum kit? I still have guitars / keyboard / bongo's but bass is the main thing at the moment. I would love a full drum kit to add to the collection! I'm getting a saxophone soon too

It was a riot because the police had riot gear on

I love flats Just ordered some Rotosounds for my fretless.

This is all a backlash from poor management of the banking systems around the world. I'm unemployed but don't feel the need to riot and loot. Seems like I'm a minority

The government are classing it as organised theft so the insurance should pay out. Insurers say it's looting and it's not covered. The shops will have gone bust before it's all sorted. Sad state of affairs

reminds me of the old joke: Lad asks for a bass and lessons. 1st week, comes home and tells his dad, I learned the key of E. 2nd week, comes home and tells his dad, I learned the key of A. 3rd week comes home really late. How about the comments of it only having one sound? I love the Orange sound, personally, just being devils advocate (dont bite me!).

Amplifier of some sort. Scales etc Simple walking bass lines. Gigging. Big grin

The metal quality on things like tuners is not usually good enough for brazing. The glue / epoxy suggestion is probably your best bet.
