1.
ahaha thanks, I feel incredibly lucky to be doing it. But it does feel great to know all the hard slog is beginning to pay off now. if your interested, here is a video of unkle bob for our song and next single 'satellite'. Footage was taken from our november tour with the goo goo dolls. Plenty more stuff on the tube if you want to delve into it more. So how long you been playing then and stuff?
I've been playing guitar for 30 years! I only started playing bass around a year ago Bass has taken over so much I have sold all but two guitars! I've never made a lot of money out of it though I had a look at your youtube stuff. You are very talented and I hope you continue to succeed
2. Welcome aboard That's an impressive cv It's good to hear of bass players making a living from the low side
3. This is the day after my wedding anniversary............. I started to talk to MrsBlademan and the look sort of stopped me in my tracks She is very supportive but I think it was just that bit too much! Oh well, next year maybe
4. Cool I really liked the Beck track. Love the drums coming in half way through, really cool The Blackbird track sounds very technical (just not my cup of tea ) Nothing wrong with it though just me!
5.
Hey guys, Have a listen to the two new tunes I've uploaded, ones a cover of McCartneys (Jaco's ) Blackbird, and one is another little tune I've been messing round with that I 'borrowed' a sample from Wired by Jeff Beck for. Let me know what you think! Matt
Where are they? I can't see a link

Hi Hi!

you will have to explain to the nice gentlemen
9. I bought a very nice ABS bass case from Andy. It arrived today and is in fantastic condition. Great service from a great chap. (thanks for waiting for me to transfer the funds and reminding me that I had failed to give you an address ). Brian
10. A very brave post on this forum! I have seen so many 'I hate slap' posts over the last few months I have had a go and still can't do it (but will keep trying). Just don't tell anyone else I am trying to slap!
11. It's great to see a positive thread. At a recent interview, I asked the interviewer how they gauged feedback for their software (the job I was applying for) and he said, if there is nothing negative its good. If they have shifted 10,000 copies and they get less than 10% negative it's still good. I find that rather sad. Good service should come as standard, sadly this is not always the case. I agree, let the staff know they have done a great job and are above the normal levels of service! As for customers in supermarkets, they can be awful. My wife has come home in tears because of the aggresive nature and abuse she has suffered I think it does cut both ways at times! Great thread and a good incentive to reward good service.
12. Very cool groove
13. Just keep practising and stretching your fingers. It helps if you 'forget' the thumb in the middle of the neck routine!
14. I googled it and could only find double bass drum, hence my comment
15. Hmmmm Double Bass on a drum kit is not quite the same
16. Wow that is cool I love the way you changed to the bow so gracefully! Thanks for posting!
17. Buy a 4 string just for the metal
18. Cool, now dump the lot and start a new band
19. When I want to hear the bass properly, I run the headphone socket out to a line matching pre amp and then through my bass rig. It sounds sweet! Use audacity to remove the high frequencies and then you are rockin'
20.
If you want to sell it PM me.
lol this made me chuckle!
21. Cheers! I may be interested (need to talk to the wife first lol) It's not the money, it's the space!
22. Looking forward to the pics Cheers Blademan
23. Love that bass!
24. I just realised that it is Pino playing bass in the Fender Strat 50th anniversary That has made my day! He just got on with it and let all the guitarists do their stuff. Brilliant, I am now a fan
