1. I have an Orange Crush 50w combo in the living room. But to be honest, I mainly practice with a Korg Pandora and a pair of headphones The Orange has a headphone socket too. I can plug the MP3 player through either and jam along. It's all good
2. Er, do you think they can hear me now?
3. +1 on the go for it. My first gig on a bass I had only had three rehearsals and straight in. You soon learn My first jam was the same. I learned the essence of the 12 bar and ended up playing for half an hour. The grin on my face lasted all night Enjoy!
4. I play guitar and bass and rely on the chords, keys and notation. I have just started to train my ears as I now want to put the sounds to the notes I will ask at a jam what key it's in so I at least have a clue I love learning but know it's not for everyone. It's all good................ it's music
5. I don't really understand why you would buy something that is artificially reliced, but each to their own! I bet it sounds great
6. Congrats Dood, Planet Waves ROCK
7. Putting it on the bay bump
8. Need the room bump
9. I find the acoustic guitar is a great pull factor Since taking up the bass, I only get drunken women flirting with me. My misses comes to all of my gigs so I wouldn't be able to respond anyway! Still I need something as I am only 5' 4" and 16 stone
10.
If you were buying something from a shop you send the money then they send the goods. If you want to return the goods they don't send you the money first and then you return the goods....they would give you a short answer if you took that approach, basically saying you're out of your mind...
Sounds like a good plan to get it all resolved
11. I saw him supporting Bob Dylan back in the eigthies (I think the memory of dates is a little hazey from that era lol)
12.
Next, here is an extract from an email to me from Mr Norris - We could, if your unhappy to refund, keep the money, leave the deal as it is but no Washburn, I can get a 120V UPS Step Down Transformer and protect the amp like that. It appears Mr Norris has not admitted to sending this to me in any of his postings to date, how strange.

I declined and asked for the deal to be unravelled now, as I was going on Holiday and I could arrange for the Goods to be returned as soon as the Money was refunded back into my account reversing the deal or we could leave the deal as it was, no Washburn Trade and I would buy a step down Transformer. Mike said return the goods for a refund, I thought for at least a nano second and then asked for the deal to be reversed, money refunded and then goods returned in that order.
I think he did Not that I want to take sides or get involved
13. Price drop to £20 bump
14.
Just spotted what looks like a somewhat butchered one of these on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/guitar-project-/260765775275 Headstock looks a bit different but the body shape, neck & inlays look identical. Might be a mess under that novelty scratchplate though. Jon.
I might just buy that
15. I must be playing wrong I just don't seem to break strings (Bass or Guitar) whilst playing. I don't change them that often either
16. So, hang tags are the tags hanging on a bass when it's hanging on a wall? Cool
17. On a positive note I would rather say 5 basses to play whilst still alive rather than before I die.........
18. Oh, please, somebody buy this bass. The is killing me! If I had the cash I would relieve you of it......
19. Bump for a cheap amp

25.
