1. I once bought a Status neck for a Jazz. I got Jon Shuker to fit it for me. Lot more snappier sound also very even sound across the neck ans sustained for ever. If you get one get Status to fit it for you or a very good luthier

 6.
Hello Everybody, I'm sorry that I didn't post the price of the 'beast' - it's £10,000. Does anybody know how I can edit my original post so that it includes the price .... thanks
Done for you.
 7. Slade were the first proper band that I got into back in the day. I was even in their fan club ! Me and me mate bought some proper outrageous platform boots (cause we wanted to be Dave Hill) and decided that it would be a good idea to put segs on the heels and soles, which made it a bit like dancing on ice when we went anywhere near a tiled floor
 8. Your going to have to put up a price for the bass or your add will get pulled Thanks
 9.
. . . in the real world they will have had the item independently tested and certified as being compliant with the relevant product standards. This, together with their ISO9000 manufacturing quality system, will be their defence against any negligence claims.
Doubt if ISO accreditation would come into it. Any accredited 3rd party auditor will include a clause in the audit report that states that they can't guarantee full compliance with the system as the audit only covered selected criteria and not the whole system. Glad the problem with the amp has been sorted though. Think you have a good case to get the cab repaired as well.

 11.
Wait for the next rehearsal and when he wants to 'save himself' wade into him about lack of commitment, being a lightweight and wasting everyone else's time (you could then tack on on that he's a rude b@57@rd too, in for a penny etc) and see what happens. Chances are everyone else in the band will pile in, if they don't you know where you stand and will have had the catharsis of unloading.
I'd more or less agree with this. If what you say is true he's just wasting everyones time. If he's been like this for 3 years he ain't going to change. i'm surprised evryone has put up with it for so long. if it was me I'd have given him both barrels long ago. I'd have it out at next rehearsal, if there's no compromise I'd walk. Bit harsh and to the point but your better off finding another project where the band members show some commitment

 15.
I take no responsibility for people being as stupid as me
My God Pete, hope all goes well. Yesterday I managed to cut through a live electric cable with a pair of plyers that I thought I'd made safe (the electric cable, not the pliers) the belt from the shock threw me off the steps I was standing on.got a sore arm and a bang on the head from the landing. When it dawned on my wife what I'd done she burst into tears, then rapidly calmed down and gave me an almighty rollocking for being so stupid. It was nice to wake up this morning and feel alive
It's not the site. Think your maybe doing it wrong. I uploaded from photobucket yesterday with no problem. Glad you like it here.
 18.
Is it as old as those tuners make it look?
It was made in January 1995 according to the Guitar dater project
 19. So, I rehearsed with my new band again this week, and it went very well. We finished the last song, and one of our guitarists started to pack away his Les Paul when he dropped it neck first. It landed across one of the wedge monitors with a very loud crack. This is the resulting damage. Must say he took it quite well. Had it been me, well, I'm pretty sure I'd have gone mad. To be honest, he's also a really nice guy, so i really felt for him. I'm taking it to Jon Shuker tomorrow for repair.
