3.
...CAN'T WAIT!!!
Bass now sold. See you tomorrow Matt
 4. "Coming Out" and saying that you are GAS free is similar to an admission that you are not. Something will catch your eye and then GAS will be rampant again. I can guarantee it ! To be honest I've given up ever being GAS free. Over the years I've had Sei's, Alembics, lots of Status's, Jazzes, Aria's and all manner of exotica bass wise, and I'm still looking for the perfect bass, why I continue to bother God only know's. It's not like I'm off out gigging every weekend at the minute. But still GAS Rules !
 5.
Hi Matey, dont suppose you wana trade for my, dolphin 5 sntcs with peizo and brass nut, with all the case and candy etc. kindest regards ziggy.
Hi I'm after a bass plus cash deal really rather than a straight trade swap.
 6.
Someone really needs to buy this... It's bloody lovely... I would absolutely love it!!!
Thanks mate. New Photo's added.
 7. For anybody looking for a bassplayer in the Notts area, Neil is a top notch player. Highly recommended.
 8. Er... Big Bag of oven chips !

 13.
That, is a classic quote. But seriously, stop buying both, they're sh*t reads. I have BGM near the crapper and I read the back of toilet products before them.
Come on Steve, BGM is not that bad, it has improved quite a bit over the last few month's. Give the guy's some credit.
 14. The guy can do no wrong. Lydon is one of life's true characters. See Avvie. He's probably kill me if he knew I'd stuck a red nose on him !
 15.
Second experience: New member number 2 (again, mentioning no names) sends a PM saying "I'll take the bass - I saw your advert and joined up just to reply to you". So, we talk on the phone, he lives in London, I answer all of his questions, and he says that he'll drive up from London (I offered to meet half way) and will bring up cash this morning. Great. I text him this morning to say that the roads are clear, and ask what time he'll be arriving, and get no reply. I then call his mobile and get his voice mail. Eventually at 10:00 I receive a text saying "I've had a think about it, and can't afford it. Sorry about that. Merry Christmas". Sigh. Mark.
Sounds very familiar does this. That's all I'm saying
 16. That is superb, not many artists would have bothered. Heathers vids have been brilliant all along and this one is the icing on the cake. It goes to show that Mark and the band have watched them. Wonder where else he's been watching.
 17.
It seems a typically British thing to knock the little guy and put down innovation, ideas and enthusiasm. Products from small producers may not be perfect (price / quality etc ) but the products come from a passion and desire to improve and innovate and with time and encouragement the products will improve and come down in price. Otherwise we may all as well just give in now and all you will be able to buy is American branded gear made in the far east by someone who doesn't give a sh*t....
I understand where you are coming from, but a customer has a right to expect an acceptable level of customer care if the product proves faulty. This applies if the company in question is a multi national or " a little guy" Sadly little guys have this simple fact lost on them on occasions. This is not aimed at Alex, as the solution he has offer to this problem is more than acceptable. It's just a general observation.
 18. The bass is still up for sale. There are no dings, marks, scratches. Its as new. I'll keep it up for sale for another week and if it don't sell then think if I'm going to keep it or not.
 19.
How much for the Marcus Miller? Seriously mate, guide prices are cool!
+ 1
 20.
Vast majority then!
Ain't that the truth. If I have a rig that's loud and clear enough for my needs then thats it. On my amp I want a graphic, compressor and a a few knobs to twiddle to get the tone I want and that's about it. Cab's have to be portable enough to fit in whichever car I have. At present I have a Hartke 2x10.5 and a 1x15, they are portable, and give me a lot of versatility.
 21. All of my basses are in excellent condition. I always take my basses to gigs in their cases and when the gigs done, the bass is the first bit of my gear that gets packed away straight into its case. I saw a drummer in a previous band I was in drop a drum case onto a top of the range Roland keyboard and bread 2 of the keys off it. Not good. Other than that they all get a good clean about once a month. I#'ve invested a lot of money in them, so I keep them looking good.
 22.
Rocks. (I'm posting this in the discussion section for the purposes of irony).
Ooooo Another Michael Manring thread, that's nice !
 23. I have always used fingers, just never really got on with a pick. When I used to play loads of gigs in clubland, I always used to have a pick handy though because after the 3rd straight night gigging my fingers used to hurt because I played so hard, I really used to whack the strings. Steadied down a bit now though and play a bit softer.
