7. To be fair it sounds amazing and is so easy to play. Best thing for me is that it's just so simple. No actives to break down Or freak me out. i used a moody looking fender jag bass in black a few years ago and all the buttons sent me dizzy. Right decision definitely.
8. Hi, Any ideas if you courier bass. I'll take it from you but I've no means of getting to London. Thanks
9. Do you know what, your right it's a great bass. I don't think I'll find better for this price so I'll tell the old blokes where to stuff their anti paisley opinions and keep it. Bass sale officially withdrawn. Thanks
10. Hi, Three screws. Holes for string through body. No idea what the original model was. It came with the bass. The original Japanese one will be sent with it on sale. Thanks
11. Immaculate fender cij pink paisley for sale or trade. With additional 'f' plate and a fender us bridge. Same single pickup precision as the blue flower and the sting basses. It was ideal for the indie band I was in at the time and a real headturner for the groupies.....(alright the mrs) but now ive started in a club covers band and the old boys are not too keen on anything that stands out....seeing as how it's an earner I've got to listen so this is up for grabs. I'll throw in a hard case to transport or collection from notts is even better. I want what I paid for it - £500 - as there are no better examples than this. Immaculate. I will be putting the cash towards a replacement so open to trades: Interested in an equivalent value trade - in particular a lined fretless or active Warwick. Thanks
12. Glad you got the sale at last. Just gutted I was too late. Someone's got a right bargain.

18. So acoustic sessions are seemingly in demand down our way at the minute and I only have my standard basses while everyone else changes to their acoustic instruments - even the ex punk drummer changes his sticks to those horses tail ones... so I was wondering - what do you guys use for acoustic sessions? I have looked at acoustic basses but never been impressed with any as you still have to plug and they just look wrong but open to suggestions? and having played fretless before this also seems to give a very acoustic sound...or do you just stick with the guitar in hand and watch everyone else carry more than one instrument to the gig? let me know your thoughts. thanks in advance.
19. hi, http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...7&hl=esp+b1 & cash? A musicman sound but with difference. let me know.
20.
I keep thinking I would love to play a 5-er as those low notes would be great for metal... so now and then I drop into the local music store to try some out, but I just can't get on with any of them. I can't put my finger on what the problem is, but none of them feel right. Has anyone else had this problem when trying to find a 5, or make the transition? What did you do? Just buy one and hope it grew on you, or stick with the 4's?
i'm with you - i have a 5 string and its great to noodle with but come to studio time I know which one i'm happy with - obviously practice helps with evrything though but cant imagine me gigging with it.
21. Just been looking on the Evil BAY and seen a great looking Gretsh white falcoln bass copy made by Eastwood. The lad wants £400 but I think you can buy them new for £450 so not too interested in this one, but they do look fantastic. Only worry is that I'm a fickle type and know this would never command any demand next time round so theres no real value in the brand. Just wondered what people thought of them if they had tried them out? I did have a Ibanez artcore semi bass but it was too much 'twang; and not enough 'umph'.....let me know (link below); http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Eastwood-classic-4-s...=item35af7ddda2
22. this is just why I hate Ebay so much. I mean, if he was that bothered about the case he would have made the effort to come and see the bass and case before bidding. Unless you've promised him a brand new spotless case and he's got the ares end one you'll be fine. Its just rubbish how he can have you over the barroll with negative feedback and theres no way of giving him any. alas i can recall when it was fairly new and it was cheaper to use, people treated each other with respect and you could trust what ever anyone told you..... I sold a Gretsch guitar which had a slight mark on the neck, he must have got it home and thought of a way to make some money cos he complained that it was worse and i ended up giving him the postage back (only £15) and he was like, yeah thats fine, cheers !!!! obviously not that bothered.
