1. When you say it's cutting out, do you mean it keeps turning off? You can tell by the power light. If it's not turning off, there's no reason to think it would be the PSU. Is it related to movement at all IE does this happen when you're rocking the whammy?
2. When I tried the blogger I tried it daisy chained on my Godlyke Powerall, which i'm pretty sure should be able to handle it. I swapped one analog dirt pedal out for the blogger, and it wouldn't work. I don't think it consumes that much power?
3. I often wonder why people bother with reverb pedals. Are you playing in a really dry room? Or is it for some sort of "special effect"? A really cheap and very fun addition to any board is a feedback loop.
4. yeh, i've never bothered with the blue light 'cos I have bulbs in my studio
5. zoom patch switching is barely noticable, far far better than the boss units i've tried.
6. What a head f***. Why wouldn't you just have a whole seperate rig for guitar? Sorry, that's not very helpful. Seeing as you're taking up a channel for the guitar mic, and then a channel for bass DI, maybe asking for an extra mic for bass would be pushing it, in which case a DI with some sort of amp sim that resembles the colouration of your bass rig is what you need. Having said that, it sounds like your band is so big that one extra mic wouldn't hurt!
7. Although Jennifer's comments are perfectly valid, and probably represent a more mature attitude, I have found myself banging my head against the proverbial brick wall on a couple of occasions. Once a soundman said "you're not using THAT EQ" and then started to mess with the EQ on my amp. Another guy wouldn't let me use my rig at all. I think they're both pretty unreasonable situations and i'm sure there are many more examples.

9. They're used to dealing with a DI straight from a bass, which as we all know needs EQing to sound good. I don't see why it'd be different coming from your board? They have an EQ strip instead of an amp sim. As I said in the other thread, I used to DI but get the engineer to lo pass that and mic the cab(s). I think that'd work great for your situation?
10. I think there have been loads of suggestions on how to get a good sound, and that's because there are loads of ways to do it. Discuss it with the soundman and i'm sure you'll sort it.
11. I had a GT6B and it did the same thing. It was fine in stomp box mode, but no good in patch mode.
12. I love that sound. What is this pearce bc1? I can't find much online.
13. Maybe a standalone synth pedal would be more appropriate? If you're only using synth sounds, and you're still not happy (you want a blender) then it could be the best bet. The ME50B (I think) has a reputation for small silent gaps when switching patches, but if you use it in "stomp box mode" it'll be fine.
14. I always got the soundman to mic my amp(s) in addition to his DI straight from the bass. I would politely ask that he just use the DI for the low end, and most of them seemed to oblige.
15. I tried it again last night, this time at a proper volume. When set to "unity gain" the OD side does work, but it's very weird. It sounds like a battery is dying in my bass or something, but then on the fuzz mode it sounds great. There isn't a gate or anything in the OD side is there?
16.
Does anyone prefer the USA mix?
I wouldn't say I prefer it, but yeh it's better in many ways. I listen to them both equally.
17.
The Holy Bible is one of the greatest albums ever written. Saying that though, I can understand why it's not to everyone's taste, especially people who can find merit in the later stuff
I did go to see them last year with my mate who's a bit obsessed with them (as a result of the holy bible) and they were pretty good. I could listen to some of the later pop stuff, it's not bad, it's just not The Holy Bible. JDB's solo album is allright as well. We saw him play that in Stoke. Such a powerful voice. I swear at one point during an acoustic one they turned the PA down and you couldn't tell. But yeh, it's the weird, dark production of effects and samples, the unusual almost a-tonal riffs, and most of all the lyrics.
18. The first two albums are deffinitely JDB playing bass. Whether or not he played on the holy bible...?
19.
I'm not a Manics fan, but have always loved 'The Holy Bible'. I think it sounds like the work of another band!
Ahhhh, so refreshing! Normally people like the later stuff and not the holy bible. It's a work of art. No idea about the basses, but are you sure Nicky played his own parts on this one?
20. I'm going to have to play a bit more with the drive side! I might put the BBM in the lo pass side of my board to fatten things up without the mental top end from the fuzz.
21. I have to say I tried it next to the BBM and I did prefer it. The Big Muff is best for mental fuzz though, where as I normally like just a bit of of crunch. The Dry outputs on these pedals makes them ace for recording, but on my pedalboard I use one blender for all my dirt pedals.
22.
My OD side does barely nothing anyway, seem's the same on every review on you tube as well, and one's I've read. I think it's just the way its made not a fault!
really?!?!? In that case maybe I had my "amp" set too low (I was just recording into the PC).
23. It's nothing to do with the polarity. The bass big muff has the same polarity and that will work fine on my daisy chain.
24. I tried my blogger last night with an individual psu and it worked for the first time! I was very pleased. However, the OD side isn't working, it just gives a very low output clean sound, compared to the fuzz side which is very high output fuzz. With the gain rolled back it sounded quite nice.
25.
You're most certainly welcome to your own opinion - It'd be a boring world if we all liked the same thing! Your post did make me chuckle though.
Is that a status 6 string fretless? Do you still have it? I love that. I think I bought my little rack off you dude, but that's for studio gear, not a bass rig
