Real stunning bass with the Zebra wood. Plays like a dream and sounds amazing, with a massive range of tones. EMG pickups fitted as standard. Neck is a dream to play. Iv gigged it once, not sure about the original owner. Looking for £500 plus £15 Delivery - No trades or stupid offers please. Will be very sad to see this go, but needs be. In the pics you will see black strap buttons fitted but I will be taking them off and fitting the original ones. Pics aint the best but was done on my phone Showing the small dings Any more info, feel free to PM me. The singer in my band is doing a solo gig on NYE and he's getting £900!! Xmas eve, my bands playing a local pub, it gets very, very busy every year, we've asked for £100 per member. Thats a 5 piece band.. We was offered a gig on Xmas eve at another place and was asked to play for £200, no thanks! We charge between £200 and £300 on a normal night, depending on how busy the place gets when they have live bands on. The band could of played a pub on NYE for £1200 but its pointless when our singer is else where and earning £900 for himself.

Hi all, Do any of you know where I can get some free Ska/Reggae drum loops from? I use a Mac if thats any help.. Can't really afford anything at the minute. Thanks Tom

Cheers for the comments guys. We had only learnt the song the week before and they were worried about doing it, but I managed to get um to do it. I no what you're saying about that guitar at the end, he no longer adds it in, could never pull it off live for some reason. I have said can we leave the female vocals out on this one, we cover some of Duffy's songs and a few amy winehouse tracks and she pulls them off really well. We use her for the ska/reggae/motown tracks also, its where her voice is at its best. The male singer normally does a lot of Frank Sinatra songs. I was just after getting a band set up asap and they were the only singers local to me that I knew. Plus they have a lot of followers from their solo stuff, which really helps at our gigs. To help get the tone, I used the Ashdown James Lomenzo Hyperdrive, I quite like that pedal, works perfect for me. We played this at a gig on Saturday just gone, Iv made new bass parts for the solo section, for some reason, my hand wanted to play the one I play in this video, but my head was like, do the new one! It didn't work, and sadly I messed it up and put the timing out well bad. Still, no one noticed, good thing about people being drunk and you make a mistake, they don't hear it or they do, but dont care haha. Thanks again! Tom

Hi all, Iv recently started off in a ska, soul, reggae, mod, covers band. We have got a song of our own, and working on more! We have got a good handful of gigs in our local area, but are after some out of our area (Leicestershire).. If any one can help out or even get us a gig in your area, get in touch Tom www.facebook.com/thehedgepigs

Haha, you are right, yes. They dont like doing it as its not really for their voice. Entwistle is one of my bass playing heros so had to show some love for him :-) thanks for the comment. Tom

Cheers for the comment! haha, timing would be down to nerves. Was all bricking it at the time. Getting used to it now though. Yeah, the sound wasn't to great for the guitarist. For some reason, I think he was worried about turning his amp up, he had only just bought it.. Some people ay ? lol. Yeah, I have finally got to a tone I like playing with. Thanks again for the comment. Tom

Hi all, This was our second gig, a wedding for a friend of ours. We are called The Hedge Pigs and the songs called Beast Inside. We do covers mainly, The Who, The Specials, The Jam blah blah but the male vocalist came up with these lyrics to some chords he was messing with, anyway, we messed around, an hour later, came up with this. Hope you like it, I know its not to every ones taste.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exc3DD4T-Yk&feature=channel_video_title I'm using a Geddy Lee jazz thats had a few mods to it. Running it through an Ampeg svt 410, Ampeg svt 6 pro. Can't remember if I was using my Ashdown Lomenzo pedal on this.. Thanks Tom
Looks a lot like my old one which I sold on here a few years back. These are awesome basses I remember mine having a really comfortable neck that played like a dream, I sold it to fund a USA precision but in hindsight I wish I'd kept the spector. Have a bump!
Cheers, Yeah the neck is real nice. Great bass.. think I'm going through another Fender moment.. Dont no why though, Iv already got a Jazz and a P bass.. Trying to get pics n info updated tonight.. if no interest by the end of the week, I'll take it off. Tom
That's certainly the page for the LB212, but I think a lot of online retailers simply haven't updated their pages. If you order one, check whether they really do still have the UK made 4 ohm LB212 in stock, as they certainly won't be able to get any more in. If they have to order one in from Ashdown it'll be the 8 ohm VS212.
Cheers! I'll give them a ring before I order just to make sure.
Guy at Ashdown said they only made 20 of the 2x12s. I think there are more of the 1x12s around though.
Was it 20 uk made ones or something?? Just found these...
