5. Hi there.. I have a Schecter Hellraiser 4 which I purchased off this forum a while back. Im going to play with it a little (duncan or bartoli pickups) and a new bridge... Saddle screws are stripped so I can't really do anything with them.. now I would just change them (but they wont turn at all :/) so I may just go for the old bridge upgrade... Currently the bridge supports both methods of either string through the body or onto the bridge.. I probably will end up using string through (if not I can't do much about it..) but yeah.. What bridge would you reccomend that would work well for this situation, as I have no idea where to start.. as all info on bridges just seem to be for P bass. I tried contacting schecter but had no reply :'( Cheers, James
6. Honestly for a proper decent pair of headphone monitors I'd always get http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d.html/ref=r...72?a=B000AJIF4E Brilliant headphones, used widely at studio's and radio stations. Come in around £80 and kill off any of my other headphones up to £200~ ish.. Also claims of better bass responce etc.. You do NOT want. It just means they will be EQ'd to have more bass. Which you don't want! You want a good pair of studio monitor headphones with a very flat response. The lack of the headphones being unable to handle the bass is due to the phones' not being good enough.
7. No-one buy the marshall cab for a month and half so I get paid from my new job !!!! good luck with sale =) great gear + Prices
8. I like GK just personally they seem overpriced for I guess shipping vat duty and everything getting them here :/ Kinda vice versa with orange in the US. For me its easier to get something UK based as it ends up a better deal May have to pick up the small head tho for bedroom jamming if it's as good as you say
9.
Seems to me the people who hate slap are the ones who can't do it....much like the guy who couldn't get the chick so calls her names Because there is no denying it...slap sounds amazing..with the correct tone and the right song!!
Nope 12chars
10. It sounds horrible :/ and rubbish to me. Ne'er heard a single Song and I always end up thinking of 'normal' playing that would sound just better...
11. Planet waves for lifetime warranty
12. Had the PL50's they are great Really good headphones for the price!
13. Such a good deal!! If this was 24th april id snap this up!
14. Something of the Schecter variety would suit !! Great fast fretboard! Lots look evil but equally really nice too..
15. For a cab, I'm getting a custom zilla 4x12 for 600!! Which is designed for my needs! (scooped mids, very low lows) Should take a look at some custom cab makers as you can get a bargain which will sound better than any mass produced thing For a head you could get a decent secondhand lh500/1000 thats built like a tank! For less than 400! Then you have an amazing cab and decent head for under a grand Add a bddi then you're all set for gigging.... For years! James
16. get it it's epic!!

20.
I'd add one exception to that. Bass players who consider themselves guitarists but are just playing bass to *enter reason here*
OMG me!!! Played acoustic guitar and dabbled in electric for 9 years. Mates can not find a bass player at all they all seemed to suck so they asked if I will have a go.. I was a bit reluctant at first but it's cool now, the stuff they play is relatively simple as it's a deathcore band. However trying to make a side project function band to actually generate some revenue which will let me play around with this big beasty bass! Anyway on topic, the rhythm guitarist is a smug bugger in our band and abhors down anything he sees unless they are signed then apparently they are 'good' so I shot him down and said well they play better then you .. Lol I hate bands that play then go... Real pet hate, now I know some bands travel a lot but he'll musics music, you learn enjoy and relax to it and heck If the bigger bands are playing more of a chance they will say 'hey play a gig with us' than if you're not there!
