Hey guys, back on her after a long absence. I'm looking for some advice regarding a new short scale I picked up. It's an old Kay bass EB 100, not in the best nick so I'm in the process of restoring it. Anyway... I currently play the Thomastik Infeld Jazz flats on my P, and I'm looking to put some tapewounds (most likely LaBellas) on this bass when it's finished. The difficulty I'm having is finding out which tapewounds would be of a similar tension on this bass at 30.5" scale. I'm not bothered about them being a bit higher tension, but I'd like to keep the difference between the two basses close. Thanks, Alec

Hey guys and girls (mainly guys, let's be honest), I found some strings today after moving house that I'm struggling to identify, and could do with some help. They have purple silks on both ends, gold ball ends and are flatwound-esque, but nowhere near as smooth as my labellas or TIs I'll try and upload a photo asap to help. Thanks in advance, Alec

I have their split '52 on one of my P basses and a Blues P90 on a guitar. Incredible pickups, well made too.

Hey guys, Just a poll, do you stick the loop (furry) or hook (rough) stuff on your pedal or on your pedalboard? I have always used hook on the bottom of the pedals, but it seems some of my other friends do the other was round.

Hey guys, Just was wondering how I could possibly wire up this: P90 and humbucker to 3-way switch, to master tone, to output? (NO VOLUME) Could somebody (Kiogon maybe?) please help me with this? Thanks, Alec
