1. I'd be all Snarky Puppy and get tonnes of musicians, so... Tenor Sax - Bob Reynolds Trumpet - Miles (my hero!) Harmonica - Toots (of course!) Keys - Bernard Wright Organ - Sean Martin (Snarky Puppy) Rhythm Guitar - Keith Richards Lead guitar - Joe Pass (Allen Holdsworth) Bass - Me (or Pino depending on availability!) Drums -?uestlove (Steve Jordan if Pino is in!) And that's me limiting it a lot!
2. Such bad timing for me, as I'd love this! If it's still around in a month (I bet it won't be!) I'd be all over it! Looks sweet! Have you filled in the bridge cover holes with some screws? And do I see gaffa tape? All the best with the sale!
3. Holes drilled for standard tuners I believe (I haven't used them, but it has the collars in the holes) There is a skunk stripe on it and its a standard fender truss rod (adjusted at the headstock) as it's made to directly replace fender necks Jury dismissed for recess
4. Can nobody help me please?
5. I believe that the whammy that I bought off of eBay is broke! Both the output jacks work, but when I engage the effect, the wet output goes silent apart from a low gurgle through my amp. I have tried recalibrating it many times but still no avail. Please, somebody help me! Thanks, Alec

7. I would like to get some of these for my Lakland JO5, but I can't find any anywhere. Does anyone know someone who makes them, or will make them for me? Thanks, Alec
8. Bump for price drop
9. I'll take them, posted please!
10. I can email them if you PM me with your addresses
11. Maple, I can text you pictures if you wish as my laptop is down
12. As the title says, unused Dr Parts Precision Neck for sale, standard dimensions I believe. £60 posted to your address (UK please!) Thanks, Alec
13. So, I bought this in an impulse but a while back thinking that I would be busking every weekend, that fell through unfortunately. This is in pretty much mint condition because it hasn't left my room, comes complete with box and power supply. Hell, I'll even throw in some AAs with it! It's a great practice amp for me, and does a great job on my low B! It's not getting it's money's worth with me! Here are the specs: http://www.roland.co.uk/products/productdetails.aspx?p=940 I would like £120 posted for this as its in great condition and has been looked after really well. Peace, Alec
14. I was thinking about building my perfect bass head (oh no!) I want to make a amp with a valve preamp stage (several tubes please!) but power stage like a solid stage amp. By this I mean an amp like a Markbass TTE 500, but to my spec (dimensions really, weight would be nice to stay under 8kg like the TTE) Would this be possible, my electronics skills are alright, but I'm getting better rapidly (it helps having a granddad who made tube radios and is an electronics whizz, what doesn't help is that he's almost blind) Help would be greatly appreciated!
15. Regrettably, I'm having to sell this amp on. This has been a faithful companion, and has served some great gigs, but as I'm moving to the states (eventually) it will be going. The only thing that I can see wrong with it is some small scratches on the top, and a larger one on the bottom (not caused by me!) Specs are here: http://www.markbass.it/product_detail.php?id=102 This baby only weighs 3kgs! I would like £425 for this baby posted to your address, or collected from Hull for a discount. You're welcome to come and try it out! The only trade option that I can see making me budge would be a Markbass TTE head. I would put some cash towards this of course. I will post pictures tomorrow. Peace, Alec
16. No treble have this covered better than I can. http://www.notreble.com/buzz/2012/11/04/la-bella-strings-launches-first-bass-guitar-the-olinto/ Basically it's a super vintage P...
17. I use Laklands, they're very well balanced with a medium tension
18. I use Lakland flats on my JO5 They were reasonably cheap at the time, I dot agree with Labellas for some reason, and TIs were too hard to get hold of. Turned out great, as they're just the sound I've been looking for, well-balanced and smooooooooth
19. Does anybody do this mod in the UK?
20. I couldn't live without my bass. I had to do it for two weeks this summer during a bad break up, it almost killed me.
21. I have one of these, lovely amp with an incredibly warm tone from one tube! I gig it without backup with no sweat on my brow, good luck with the sale!
22. I ave a Dr Parts neck lying around if you're interested. Maple, 20 frets...
23.
They also do a Medium Gauge set, 45-65-85-105, though still Long Scale Plus... OK for 34", though. Allegedly.
Ahh ok, my bass is a 35", I have heard that the two strung sets are just boxes differently, so of I can find the GHS set for cheaper, I may try them, in 20 years when I'm finished with these
