  1. Bought a few months ago from Guitarguitar. Bought to play in Drop E but barely getting much use and the droptune setting on the helix works well enough for my needs to be honest. 2. Due to someone hitting my car and doubling my insurance premiums price is reduced
  3. Got it all cleaned up and the lighter fluid seemed to work a treat. Cheers folks. Frets shining now...they were absolutely manky. Needs a proper setup and nut filed to accommodate the .170 gauge strings
  4. Hi folks. NBD of sorts for me here having repurchased a Dingwall NG2. It's in dire need of a proper setup and a proper deep clean. Neck feels like an old cars dirty steering wheel at the moment. Some .170 Payson strings on the way but looking for advice on what's the best way to give the maple neck/fretboard a proper cleaning to get rid of all the built up crud? Keep seeing mixed things about using lighter fluid? Not sure I'm keen on the idea of that but if it works I'm all for it. Thanks in advance folks. Obligatory NBD photo also attached 😀
  5. I'm happy to take a string off before sale 😇
  6. Collection also includes a free cup of tea! I really enjoy the Ibanez and to be honest it's the only 6 stringer I've got on with but it doesn't quite do the tunings I'll be playing in 😥
  7. Bought another bass to replace this one so looking to move on. Reduced to £680 Looking to sell my SR1306 NTF. I have the included case that it comes with. Ideally collection but could post for cost (I'm unsure how much it would at the moment. Collection from Motherwell but could travel to Glasgow or potentially Edinburgh. Condition is really good and I can't see any dings etc on it but I shall have a further look tonight to make sure. Very versatile bass just surplus to requirement at the moment. Neck type: Atlas-6 5pc Wenge/Bubinga neck w/KTS TITANIUM rods Body: Ash/Walnut top/Mahogany body Fretboard: Rosewood fretboard w/Avalone Oval dot inlay Fret: Medium frets w/Premium fret edge treatment Bridge: Mono-rail V bridge Nut: Graph Tech BLACK TUSQ XL nut Neck pickup: Nordstrand "Big Single" 6 neck pickup Bridge pickup: Nordstrand "Big Single" 6 bridge pickup Equaliser: Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band eq w/Eq bypass switch & 3-way Mid frequency switch Hardware color: Gold Any questions please feel free to ask away.
  8. I went with this. Ormsby GTR SX7
  9. It's easy to do but finding someone who's appreciative is another thing. I just gave away about £700 of bedroom furniture and got a "thank you" akin to almost almost holding a door open.
  10. Only got a few gigs booked this year so far. Sleep Token, Slipknot and SIM. Need to get a ticket for "The Home Team".
  11. Last year I was selling a car on FB Marketplace and I had a guy (being totally genuine) asking me to donate the car to him. Now if it was a £200 banger that was to get someone to A to B in a push I would understand the desperation but it was a 4 litre V8 that absolutely was not practical for any sort of sensible family driving.
  12. Hey folks. The names Cameron, used to be active on here all the time but haven't really been too much into playing music the last 6 or so years so not been on. Recently got back into playing bass again and looking to get into learning guitar a bit too. Primarily just in the house until I get back into the swing of things! Currently still got my ACG Über Recurve 5 and an Ibanez SR1306 Premium (albeit probably selling that in favour of a Dingwall)
  13. Due to my cars handbrake being made of sponge. £350 plus postage price reduction
