1. if they were just normal t-shirts i.e. no collar, I reckon I would get one. piercings on my neck (yes....neck) make polo-shirts quite uncomfortable for me, the polo shirts do look really nice though!
2. bought a Tu-2 off Freddie for a friend without BC account, arrived quickly and works fine, great guy to deal with! Recommended!
3. I done this a while ago with my first ever bass, shortly after (not even a month) I realised I missed the G string. I'd say just go for a 5 string if possible
4. you have no idea how much I want that Whammy :/ unfortunately funds don't allow it have a bump though
5. just sold another pedal to Mike, again. great guy to deal with!
6. Bumpy-bump.
7. Boss SD-1 guitar pedal, lots of little chips off the paint (clearly road-worn) but is in perfect working order (will even throw in a battery) £20ono + £4 if you want it posted Pedal not designed for bass but actually sounds' pretty good on bass, Could possibly provide a sound sample if no slaggin' of my horrible playing is done! any questions or more pictures wanted, just ask
8.
Ah man gutted I missed the ODB or the Chorus I bloody live in your town haha!
sorry man, I bought them both! have another bump for the GEB-7
9. Nope! Not quite the biggest idiot, I almost just spent £100+ on a bass cab to then realise (momentarily before commiting to buy) "wait....don't i need an amp head?"
10. The first gig I played, I only knew 3 and a half out of 6 of the songs, I basically just kept playing hoping i wasn't sounding too terrible The reason I look terrified in my picture is because I had no idea what I was playing, as a first gig infront of about 200 people...I needed a nappy.
11.
Are you just importing privately or selling as a dealer? Just asking as the prices are more or less the same as my local dealer - actually he's selling Fat Beam & Hi Beams for less than £30 a set - usually £27/£28 and can sometimes deal if buying more than one set. Obviously this means travelling to the dealer but I work close by so not much hassle to pop in & pick some up I think he does the Neons at £33 but I have seen these on EBay at about £30.50 delivered. Not trying to pick holes in your prices - just thought you might be able to get cheaper if you shop around a bit in the States where DR Strings are so much cheaper than over here (especially if you're bulk buying)
I second that about ebay, I got a 5 string set of the DR Neons for £27.00 delivered within 4 days..
12. Just recieved Boss ODB-3 off Aaron, great guy to deal with!
13. I know every guitarist I've saw play bass made a complete arse of it, which...if I'm honest...i find hilarious.
14. Whoever bought it got a bargain, my favourite pedal!
15. I've only actually played 2 gigs, the first gig we played...I only knew 3 and a bit of a 6 song set and in the second gig, the EQ'ing of the instruments was so bad that the only thing audible to either the audience or the band was bass and drums definetly wasn't the best things to get you started gigging lol
16. just sold a EHX big muff to Mike, Pleasure to deal with and super quick payment! Great guy, pleasure dealing with you!
17. bumpitty boo!
18. Bought this off a fellow Basschatter a few weeks ago but just not a massive fan of its sound (i prefer more of an overdriven tone). I wasn't planning on selling it but i need the money for another pedal I've found on this site. All in perfect working order and just had a new 9v battery put in. Few cosmetic scuffs etc but all works fine! £30+ £3 postage any questions just ask away
19. PM'd about ODB-3
20. Bought a few pedals off Stephen last week, arrived quickly and they all work. What more can you ask for? Hope to deal with you again at some point!
21.
not really the hardest of songs.
it's pretty difficult when you've been playing 7 months haha, plus theres so many small variations in the song it takes a fair amount of time to get it completely right. the most fun songs to play are primus though, the intro to mr pink by level 42 is really fun to play (and actually easy)
22. happy by mudvayne when i just started playing bass (less than a year ago) I watched a cover of that song and though "wow, it must takes years and years to get that good." 7 months later, i can play it....and i figured it all out by ear (it took bloody ages but i managed it)
23. Was good dealing with you and enjoy the pedal! also, there was paypall fee's.....they took about £9 off me once i got your money, but it's all good
24. Great buyer, fast and easily done (even considering I had no idea how paypal works)
