3. bump for price drop
4. PRICE DROP TO £90 Hi, I'm selling my BC Rich 5-string active warlock which I've had from new since I was a teen and in to far more metal than I am now. Plays well and everything works. The finish on the paint is as you would expect for a bass of this age with use and there are chips on the 'spikes' as they do have a tendency to be vulnerable. I'm open to reasonable offers. Collection from Telford Shropshire or can drive an hour. Cheers Tom
5. *PRICE DROP TO £450* offers welcome WILL CONSIDER TRADE FOR GOOD QUALITY FENDER TELECASTER Hi all, I'm selling my Musicman SUB 4-string active bass. I simply don't play it anymore and its a waste of such a lovely bass, plus my wife is becoming less and less tolerant of me decorating our house with things that just sit there... I'm sure most of you know about these basses, they were Musicman's attempt to show a good bass similar to the stingray could be produced in America without the hefty price tag, however I believe they started to lose money on them and so they were discontinued. This is one of the originals which I had from new. I've asked Ernie Ball for a date from the serial number but they haven't got back to me yet, I think its 2003 off the top of my head. Everything works perfectly, its an absolutely amazing bass to play. There are two dings on the top side of the body from gigging, which I have photographed, otherwise its in very good nick as I hope you can see from the pictures. I've had it valued at two separate shops in my area who have both said they would sell it for £500 so that's what I'm advertising at. You are more than welcome to come around and play it, I'm in Telford, Shropshire, and any sales would be collection from here or within an hours drive. Cheers Tom

7. Not heard of one around Staffordshire but I'd definitely be up for it! Getting sick of hanging around with guitarists and drummers....
8. Anyone know where I could get decent quality black control plate and bridge that would fit a MusicMan SUB?
9. Immediate payment for the condenser mic and a pleasure to do business with Tom
10. hey, has anyone had the RH450 and gone on to the BH250? I have a RH450 (with a RS210) at the moment, and whilst I love it, I really like the tone print feature and thinking maybe the price difference between what I could sell my RH450 for and buy a BH250 for, could go nicely towards a RS112.... but I'm just wondering if I'm gonna be disappointed. Can't find anywhere to try one out yet Cheers
11. Can do the interface for £80 and the mic for £25
12. would you let the pedal go separately? and if so for how much, cheers
13. argh, I'm trying to get rid of some of my stuff so I can buy something like this, don't suppose your in need of a acoustic bass, mackie onyx blackjack USB interface, or a condensor mic...
14. Hey, Sorry for only just replying. The sound and build quality are both really quite good. It's got a good volume to it and manages to create some good lows but without sounding muddy, copes very well alongside an acoustic guitar. Its nice to play, the body isn't too bulky, I quite like the bowl body, although the neck is obviously the heavier of the body and neck and so it can be a little awkward to play should you choose to do so stood up. Good sound plugged in as well (usually just gone through the PA) and the EQ switches means you can get quite a variety Any more questions just ask. Cheers Tom
Looks decent. What's the sound and build quality like? I'm after an acoustic for a few gigs and can't afford anything spectacular.
15. Now on Ebay Hi All, Im having a big clear out of my recording gear (not due to the wife at all...) A small while back I got into the idea of doing my own recording on my Macbook with GarageBand... anyway turns out I don't really have the time or energy, or space for that matter. I'm just looking for a portable 4-track now to roughly get some song ideas down (see below) So here is whats on offer: (I've put a bundle price at the bottom and also possible trades) Mackie Onyx Blackjack 2x2 USB Recording Interface This thing is a great piece of kit, I only wish I could make more use of it. Here's the details from Mackie: http://www.mackie.co.../onyxblackjack/ The preamps are particularly great. The rugged construction and overall design make it a pleasure to use and its so unbelievably small. It really is like brand new, complete with its box and all relevant documentation and the lead, absolutely not one fault. They go for £120 brand new, I will therefore be asking for £80 incl. P&P. (if you choose to pay by Paypal I ask that you cover the fees) SOLD - Behringer C3 Studio Condensor Microphone - SOLD This is a good introduction dual diaphragm condensor mic with selectable cardioid, omnidirectional and figure 8 pickup pattern and I've been able to get some great sounding vocals and acoustic guitars with this. Here's the information: http://www.behringer...oducts/C-3.aspx (note that the one I'm selling has a -10dB switch on the front shown by this amazon link: http://www.amazon.co...s/dp/B000KUA8EI) They go for £40 new and this one is in great condition and I'll also throw in the microphone pop shield and mic cable for £30 total incl. P&P If you can fancy buying both of these together then I'll do them all for £110 incl. P&P. I'm also looking for a portable digital four-track such as the Tascam DP-004, and a set of Jazz bass pickups like Seymour Duncans or Wizards. I would be willing to look into trading the above items (with appropriate balance in cash either to me or to you depending on the item) for these. Feel free to send any questions you have Cheers Tom
16. SOLD Hi All, Selling my Stagg ACB1006CE Electro-Acoustic Bass in Black. In great condition, but the strings could do with replacing. Selling because I never use it and my wife is getting at me for it taking up space in the spare bedroom.... Here's a link to the Stagg website with the details: http://www.staggmusi...bk.html?backp=1 I bought this for £200 and it appears to still be going for £180 new after a quick search on Google. I think with its condition it is still worth £100, but since the strings could do with replacing I'm looking for £90 incl. P&P. I am also looking for a portable 4-track digital recorder (such as the Tascam DP-004) or a set of Jazz pickups such as Seymour Duncans or Wizards, and would be willing to swap for one of these items Cheers Tom
17. * It has now gone to a new home * Hi, I'm putting up my Eastcoast (which is Stagg) EUB as while I love it, it's just not getting used, I don't really have the time to practise it much and would prefer to get another electric bass. A few points - there is some buzzing around the 2nd/3rd position on the d string, which from reading other posts this seems to be a standard problem. I replaced the nut as when I bought it from another basschater, it was cracked. There is some small damage around the nut area when I was trying to get it off, see pics. I haven't glued the new nut in place as I prefer to be able to easily take it off, but it sits fine and doesnt move at all. No problems with anything else really, looks and sounds great. Comes with the body attachments and a carrying case. I've managed to get the intonation to match the fret dots as well by adjusting the bridge height, which is often a problem with these EUBs. You can see pics here: http://s1111.photobucket.com/albums/h471/T...an/Stagg%20EUB/ As said in the title I would ideally like to trade for a Butterscotch Squier CV 50's P Bass, as if I sold it that's where the money's going to be going anyway. Either that or I would be open to a recording interface for my MacBook, something like a Steinberg CI. And then if there are no trades that come up I would ideally like back what I paid for it, £180 ovno. I live in Stoke-on-Trent and can meet up in Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham or any of the close surrounding areas. I work at the hospitals in Stafford and Cannock as well. Cheers Tom
18.
Need to shift this - no box but do have the instruction manual somewhere. Quick look today on the web show prices about £133 so looking for £50 + P&P.
Hi, Is this the latest model of the fast track? From having a quick look around I think there was an update at somepoint as the old one didn't have phantom power for the XLR but the new model does. Any chance of some pics and do you still have the USB cable? Cheers Tom
19. Hey, I'm just doing up a old squier that I got from my old high school years ago, completely stripped it, going to respray it olympic white with a black pickguard, got a new mighty mite rosewood jazz neck for it, throw in some seymour duncan quarter pounders and a black badass 2, and I should have myself a pretty decent bass. However before respraying it I've decided to buy all the hardware and things to make sure I have all the right holes, so any new ones can be drilled before painting. I have the badass which fits perfectly, and now the new pickguard. The original was white so I wanted to buy a black one, I knew that whatever I bought unless from an old squier (this one is 97 according to the neck) would not fit perfectly and I would need to drill some new holes. So I bought a black mexican precision plate from WD music. I've just recieved it though and when it is in the correct position a lot of the holes in the scratchplate hang over the wiring cavities, what do I do? Are american scratchplates a lot different? the only other thing I could think of is buying really long screws which go right down to the bottom of the cavity for the holes that hang over? Cheers Tom
20. Hi, Just bought a Stagg EDB off a fellow basschatter a few days ago and as soon as I got it home and tuned the G string the nut cracked and bit flew off, fun times. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? I've measured it as being 1 11/16ths inches in length (which I think is standard bass guitar nut length) but its the height at 9/16ths or 14mm which is obviously a lot bigger than bass guitar nuts. I'd be grateful for any suggestions Cheers Tom
21. Hi, I'm after a second hand Stagg 3/4 EDB if anyone has one they want to get rid of. I can get a new one for £300 delievered, so for secondhand I would hopefully be after something around £250 delivered, one went on here it seems for that price so hopefully people don't think thats too unreasonable. Cheers Tom
