Hey I have a flightcase for a double bass for sale. I currently live in Edinburgh, but with work am down in London every couple of weeks. So either location would be suitable for sale. The case has been used, and is a little rough around the edges, however absolutely perfect for looking after your double bass. It has a repair on the top, but still a great case. I have put two small casters on the bottom. PM if you are interested, Graham

Brand New, not even out of the packet. Bought this a few months ago, but didn't fit it as am in the process of changing my upright. My new upright already has one of these pickups, so better get rid of the new one. [post="0"]http://www.shadow-electronics.com/viewpro.html?id=194[/post] Seems to have great reviews. Based in Edinburgh, will courier anywhere.

For Sale: Romanian Stentor 3/4 Fishmans BP100 pickup, with an K&K Golden Bullet Pickup Upgrade ($315)(http://www.kksound.com/goldentrinitybass.html) It also comes with a top of the range soft case, by Tom and Will. (£155) The pickup upgrade means that you can blend between the Golden Bullet URB mic, and the Fishman BP100. This can be very helpful for both recording and live. I bought this bass to learn on, and have recently been given a 5 string Upright which suits me much better. I would let it go for £[s]650[/s] £550 (I bought it for £500, but after getting it properly set up, and adding the pickups, I've spent about £1000 on the bass). OPEN TO OFFERS This is a great bass for both beginner, and advanced player. Based in Edinburgh, although can have it in London on Wednesday 26th December, as my flat-mate is traveling down on the train.

Hey On tour recently I had to hire a few different Upright basses, and noticed an incredible difference in the tone and playability depending on the strings the basses were set up with. I am interested in discovering which strings you guys use, and what are the benefits/disadvantages that come with each type. I'd also like someone to recommend to me a string selection that come in 5 strings and are light.

This is a lovely guitar, I simply cannot justify having it any longer when it rarely gets played. I had the pickup fitted at George's house, and it sounds incredible. As I would expect from the highest end Fishman pickup. I hope to get £1200 for this great guitar, which comes with a Hiscox LiteFlight case. Based in Belfast.

Reasonably new to the world of Double/Upright Bass. The best job I can find for being portable is the Eminence with the removable neck. Does anyone have any experience of these? I do not want to get a "stick style" EUB, as need the acoustic body aspect of DB. Anyone got any ideas? For touring/gigging it is impractical for be to get a massive double bass, but maybe thats the price to pay?

Double Bass Tutors- Northern Ireland/ Scotland
grahambrown1986 posted a topic in EUB and Double Bass
Hello The general consensus from this forum seems to be that its very worthwhile getting some lessons to help with the transition from electric to double bass. Is there anywhere to help find a tutor? I am based in Edinburgh, for University, and then back in Belfast during the summer. Can anyone help me out? -
