    Or Jeff Beck, for that matter. Most of the others have been in highly influential bands in their genres and are worth celebrating. Its amazing but it's still very difficult for female musicians to get ahead in the industry. Just go to any night in any rock/indie venue in the country and count the female musicians - it's never even close to 50/50. Of course the reasons are many and complex, but anything that celebrates them and potentially inspires more is a good thing.

    I sold mine recently after getting a Fusion 550, my dream amp. No regrets so far, though there really isn't a lot between them, tone or power-wise. I reckon I'll miss its portability when I have the next run of gigs.

    My Gallien Krueger MB Fusion, complete with rack ears, is up for sale. It's a 500W, Class D amp with 3 preamp valves. Considered by many to be one of the finest Class D amps. I found it never wanted for volume when paired with one or two 8 ohh Barefaced Compact cabs, and with my TKS S212 (4 ohm). The tone palette is very versatile, from clean hi-fi to the famed GK "growl" - or at least a version of it. I'm only selling because I've moved aware from Class D and replaced it with a GK Fusion 550. My back won't thank me! I've never had any problems with it, and done about 12-18 gigs a year with it for the last 3 years since I bought it. It's been kept in a rack flightcase since I bought it, and is in excellent condition. I went to Liverpool fresh off the boat from NZ in 1987 and did the Beatles tourist thing. It was cheap and cheerful, cheesy, and we loved it. Liverpool was a bit of a dump back then, but there's been so much investment in the city centre over the years, its actually a decent city now, well worth a visit.
