1. Succumbed. S212 ordered. Black with oxblood cloth.
2. I sold a Barefaced Compact to Gareth - it was a very smooth transaction, quick payer, plenty of comms, definitely recommend dealing with him.
3. I was at school with Neil. He's left Loop (after they briefly reformed and toured) and is back in NZ after many years in the UK, running his own label. Really nice guy, great bass player, and a very good footballer in his day - his brother played in the 1982 world cup and Neil himself was good enough to play at the top level in NZ.
4. Neil. I have a GK MB Fusion. Not looking to sell but if you want to try it to see about GK cabs you're welcome to borrow it for a practice. Martin.
5. The Low Anthem use a field harmonium to great effect. Have a listen to To The Ghosts Who Write History Books.
6. I bought Gary's old-school cassette player from him (someone had to - the ad was getting sadder and sadder). It arrived in excellent condition and the whole transaction was smooth as silk. Wholly recommend dealing with Gary. Cheers, Martin.
7. He's awesome isn't he. I'm going to Cuz at the Brudenell tomorrow night. First time I was him was with firehose back in the 80s (or early 90s).
8. I forget how to play the bass approximately half way through every gig... I think you'll be fine - any nervousness will disappear after a couple of bars.
9. Yes, we'd definitely pay a dep in that type of situation.
10. My little blues/soul combo will be playing tonight at The Junction, Otley. As it's Yorkshire Day I'll be sporting a new flat cap and speaking barely comprehensible English. There's be Yorkshire ales and someone in the audience will almost certainly have a whippet. Come along and say hello if you're nearby. Cheers, Martin
11. I got one of these recently after 2 previous goes with compression (Monte Allum-modified Boss and DHA Valve Compressor) which had made me think it was not for me. This one, however, really fattens up and controls the sound beautifully. It's always on now for me.
12. I bought Stu's pedalboard and power supply. Everything was in immaculate condition as described and well packed. Excellent communications. You can transact with Stu with complete confidence.
13. I have a vt-1 which is great. Where are you based? If you're not far from me you'd be welcome to try it out. I'm in Harrogate btw.
14. Does it have the offline facility like Spotify and is there a download limit (3334 tracks on Spotify which came as a surprise to me). Pricing for the family option is £14.99 for up to 6 people I think.
15. Can I ask where are for collection please. I can't see it on the mobile version. Cheers.
16. Yep they really put on a great show. One of my faves so far.
17. I liked some of it, and some parts were awful. I liked the fact that he didn't bring a band - he brought the club, his real show, to the field. That worked for me. Some of the material is very weak though. Still, a million times more enjoyable that Florence (for me). My faves so far have been Young Fathers, Vintage Trouble, and the Mothership.
18. Nice stuff Neil, the bass sounds lovely. Good song too.

20.
14/15 - I got the 5 sharps key wrong
One trick for remembering the sharp key signatures is that the 'last' sharp (the one to the right of the key signature) is always the leading note of the major scale for the key signature, Hence, in this case, the 'last' sharp is A sharp hence the key is B major. With flats, the second 'last' flat in the key signature is always the major key. So with a key signature of B flat, E flat, A flat, D flat, the key is A flat major.
21.
People are welcome to come and try it, can't deliver due to the weight of all the tubes, but would be willing to meet somewhere as long as it's not too far.
Might help if you told us where you are.
