    W&T Zoid 5 String. This is an awesome bass in every respect,( looks and sound.) Hand made in Italy from specially chosen tone woods. PUPS are Nordstrand, Electronics are by John East. Great sounding EQ and beautiful in Passive mode. Has a through neck with a brass nut. Currently strung B-G Big waiting list for this bass plus big price! Grab yourself a beautiful instrument (doubles as a piece of art too!!) Comes with hard case.

    Up for grabs is my beautiful Warwick Infinity Bass. This German made instrument is in stunning condition. No marks, scratches or dings. Through neck with great and powerful eq. Bass is great in a wide range of situations from Funk, Pop, Rock and even theatre work. Cost new was over £4k. Comes with hard case. Grab yourself a bargain. Possible trades are with Xotic, Skjold or any good quality 4 string.

    Thanks to everyone that has contributed here.............. what an amazing community. Seriously good to get such interesting views. It may well be a hot summer but i want to make an informed and rational decision and stay cool (including my 'love spuds!!) no need for talc or vaseline. Thanks again...... the Papabull

    Ok here we go........................ does anyone have any thoughts re the choice between an oldidh (ie Mid 70's Fender P) and a new Xotic XP-1T 4 string? Would love to know your thoughts. especially pros and cons plus what you would choose and why??? Cheers all BC's Papabull

    Hi bass chatters Can anyone shed any light on late seventies Precisions with and additional jazz pickup near the bridge? What are these basses like? Can I get a good fat precision sound with this setup and can i switch the jazz pup out? Any help or info would be very gratefully received. Cheers to all from the papabull !!
