That's beautiful, Ice Blue is such a cool colour, pun intended A great end result
-
Very cool bass, I bet it sounds lush. I was watching and learning 'Kiss and Tell' last night with the maestro himself. You're a lucky ladπ

Both lovely colours, I'm very partial to Ice Blue at the minute

Excellent stuff -
I took this one when I finished the cab, but I had posted threads in the Build Diaries for the cab and the bass build. Got a lot of great advice and help on here from people lucky enough to have a real fliptop or 64 p bass. This set up is close enough for me and my needs.

Lovely RedVee I have a PF20T as well, used with a home built B15 cab and P bass, it's all you need!

Wow, that white jazz looks fantastic. At first I didn't like relics, I thought the idea was great, as long as they weren't done for the wrong reasons, but they were usually a bit over the top, so I had a go at doing one myself and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. The nerdy geek side of me enjoyed the endless hours I spent on researching different methods of achieving the most authentic look, and the practical side of me enjoyed having a go and admiring the results. I could never justify splashing out on a 64 Precision or a CS replica, but I think I got the next best thing which is actually more valuable to me because of the time, effort and outside help invested in it. I would recommend everyone to have a go at one.

I just got one of these, secondhand and immaculate, but for the opposite reason, I have other Teles (bitza's) but wanted one with humbuckers. Fabulous value, especially used, and available with other pickups, and as Thinlines!

Thank you for posting this, I had never heard of them before, and I have spent the past two days listening to them on applemusic at work. Brilliant stuff

Musicman sell their compensated nuts as aftermarket parts, or at least they did, I have a 4 and a 5 string one. I have a Telecaster with an Earvana nut, which is the same type of thing, and it's noticeable on there, particularly on open chords.

Very nice work I was thinking of doing a body out of Black Limba, what's it like to work with?
