guitarist in the band I was in said enough is enough, when I questioned why he replied that I like a laugh too much and now I quote,my questionable morals makes me someone he would much less know than play with,so I thanked him for the glowing reference wished the silly old fool all the best, given that I am happily married in my late fifties who does not drink, smoke or do drugs did make me chuckle

 9. good evening one and all yet again I throw myself at the combined expertise known as basschat, the dilemma that I have is at present I use a gallien kruger backline 2x10 combo with a matching 2x10 cab, I want to go down the 1x12 or 1x10 cab route with a amp,oh that would be two cabs, it is a case of given that I play a five string ect and what I use now handles that, but I am unsure about only having two by one ten cabs which is just down to my own inexperience with them so my question is what are your recomendations given that I play blues, covers ect, pubs and the like budgets well about 700 to 800 plus trading my gallien kruger kit thanks in advance for the advice, cheers stef

 18. so after a few misses and after a bit of faffing about, I have finally joined a band, doing originals, and after so many years of being away from bands I forgot how good it feels, but isnt it funny how in the same week I got another two offers, one doing blues and the other doing rock covers, both quite tasty bands, but the chance of putting my mark on the music was the thing that clinched for me also the drummer and I got on a hoot as well as played well together in such a short time so onwards and upwards so cheers for now stef
