err you're right, it looks bigger and heavier! prob sounds lush though! oh and the Cab is spoken for, but is going no where till the amp goes.
Haha, Its actually tiny and lightweight! Under 10kg for an all valve head. keep it in mind!
2. hey bass london, I Pm'd you last night, Did you get it?
3. I was looking at these as well not so long back. I decided against it simply due to the lack of reviews and the usual "it looks too good to be true" philosophy! Personally, I'd save some dough and get Lysdesxias Ashdown ABM combo or similar.
4.
What year? Whats the spec?
I bought it from new in June 08 I think. Nothings been upgraded although I have shielded all the cavities with with copper sticky stuff!
5.
it seems there are very few trades or money floating around... or folk just don't like my rig!
Trust me, I want it! But I dont think my Twin Valve is what your after!

7. Haha, I skim read the first post and thought you said you bought your wife with an eternity ring. Good luck with the sale man!
8. Bump!
9. that sounds to me like there might be something vibrating against the cone? Have you tried playing it without the grill on?
10. Bump! I'm quite interested in something 5 string, probably active! Had lots of interesting offers so far that I'm mulling over
11. Really enjoyed that Si! Your getting a great tone out of that jazz. With the intro medly did you change any settings throughout or was it all just technique changes?
12. Thread Cleaned and a free bump to follow
13. is there a way you can find out? I think it would have been me mumbling about how I lost bass world and couldnt find basschat for a good few months
14. I wouldnt buy something then sell it on here for a profit, however if I bought something on here, Didnt get on with it and knew it would sell for more on eBay then thats what I'd do. Generally speaking the money is going to go back into basschat anyway
15. You have PM Rinser
16.
Would you be interested in a trade for this? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=109728 Or perhaps a V-Type pre with a Trace PPA300 power amp? Not sure if there'd need to be cash going one way or the other for that?
Not particularly interested in the bass but could you send me pics of the pre/power setup?
17. Its a shame things like this are so specialised! It looks really well made and the kinda thing I'd really want... If I had a walkabout head!
18. Aye, I Can get that tone with a fresh set of strings, a pick and a nice mid scoop on my trace tube amp - I use the same bass as you I think?
19. thats really quite something! I wish I had something for you!
20. Ahh you got yourself a scout combo eh matt! I've got the scout cab, wonderful arent they!
21. Christ, 1600 watts and the RH front end... Completely overkill in every sense of the word but my god I want one...!
22.
Hmm not me I'm afraid, I'd be the chap with the Fender and the Eden rig! Could be a new chap. I've not been down to play this term but if I do I'll most certainly give you a shout. Always nice to nerd it up about bass in between sets
Oh you bet! Its "open mic" on mondays but last time they just had a guest drummer and a few guest singers, it seemed a bit of a personal circle on stage so I didnt want to get up. But yeah, I'll look forward to that - And if you want to try any of my gear just give me a shout! The Mesa scout cab and Trace Twin valve is a particularly sweet little setup!
23.
Alright matey! From your neck of the woods also, used to study at LIPA. Welcome on board. EDIT - Mythste, I didn't realise you were so close matey. I dep at Hannah's bar sometimes on a Thursday night with a mate of mine's band on Hardman Street, would be good to see you out one night!
Ive only seen bands there on a monday night, Guy playing a nice lakland through a GK rig - If that was you your a cracking player! Hannahs is a great bar, let me know next time your out?
24. Christ you guys are lucky! Its all Ashdown EB180 combos and Crate something-150's.
25.
Haha, cool Ste, what course you on? Got a few mates doing music-y things there at the moment!
Nothing Music-y I'm afraid, I have a load of friends at LIPA rubbing it in my face daily aswell! I'm on a business and economics course at the moment. Also if you know anyone that needs a casual bassist, I'd be happy to help!
