its only an inch and a half shallower than the BF Vintage, although thats ported. Would anyone in the know know if it would be worth Paulus playing with some porting?

I really wish I had the chance to have my old Bongo back. I wasnt very mature as a bass player when I had it and I just dont think I did it justice I do however remember that the 4 band eq was hard work. Loads and loads of good tones on tap but you have to work pretty hard to get a really great tone.

I love the feel of a well setup bass with a super low action, thats for sure! However, there's something about a passive jazz with the action high that just sounds so ballsy and feels so manly!

I dont think I'm ever going to be cool enough to rock something like that but it really is an awesome job!

Yeah, I think it needs something to cover it up! maybe a nice rounded grill cloth as seen on Q acoustic Hi-fi speakers or something!
