1.
"he [PJ] said that the Flightcase does produce a background noise because its a class D amplifier with digital switchmode power supply, all class D amplifiers have this background noise however the Flightcase has a very low signal to noise ratio of 90db which Phil claims is better than any other class D amp on the market"
Class D switching (from my very limited knowledge) is different to normal class D. I believe the Switching mode power supply is whats used in the Little Mark 2 - And if there was any whistling present there im SURE we'd have heard about it by now...
 2.
Sounds a little suspect to me too.
+1 Ive used the Markbass F1 and GB Shuttle 6.0. Both Class D, Neither of which had any whistling!
 3. If people where being honest, you should get the same answers in this thread as your other one! Personally, I'd say Aguilar DB750 and DB810. But when you get up to that sort of money you could have pretty much anything you fancied and they'd all sound fecking fantastic.
 4.
If you read the sticky Alex posted it's because he's getting busy and does not want to spend time on forums and by the looks of it, non Bareface topics. If you need him, contact him directly. Which is fair enough for someone who is running a business producing products and is very much hands on.
Thanks for pointing this out I do hope its a time management decision (which is looking ever more likely) than a motivational one.
 5. If you can work through Wootens "Blackbird" by the beatles cover, it tends to find its way nicely into other pieces quite nicely.
 6. Thanks for the compliments! I dont envy those of you that are trying to do all the low end duty on Bass guitar only. I certainly wouldnt have fancied it... Get yourselves a microkorg and double up!
 7. I'm definitely the least qualified to point it out, but the edges of the bridge look a little rough, and maybe homemade from here?
 8. Pft, the old one was easier to see from a distance </miserable get basschatboy>
 9.
C'mon Stephen, what have you getting to pair with your Vintage?????
All in good time mon ami!
 10. Where did you get the scratchplate?! I really want one of those, with three holes aswell! (Sorry for the hijack)
 11. This is one of our crossover tracks, I used a GT-6b on this, but there's so much going on you cant tell the amount of little tweaks on my sound, apart from maybe the Fuzz in the breakdown. I may well have just plugged straight into the desk!
 12. Ahh, I used to be quite good at this! I played Glasto in a live Drum and Bass crossover band and it was great fun. The only thing is, i couldnt make pedals work for me! And boy, did i try... With synths doing the wobbles etc you just need to pound out the lows to keep it driving at live IME.
 13. Purple Blob, i know its the new year and all, but could you amend the title to something a little less vulgar please? I know its not your intention etc etc, but make my life easy, just for today! ^_^
 14.
I think it's a new watch but in a big box.
Its about the same size box my 20cm RC helicopter came in, so could be anything!!
 15.
Paul, I laughed out loud in my office when i'm supposed to be working, so nice one!
I'm at home, but my pop still looked at me funny!
 16.
I like it! I take it's with the PJ bass in your avatar? nice playing , nice tone!
Wrong unfortunately! That track was recorded with my Jazz
 17. Shh! If this ad disappears off the map i wont bump it, and its best that way...!
 18.
What now??!!!!
Sh, im not telling you!
 19.
The reviews on HC are of tremendous value. They have made me larf my nads off on many a dull afternoon.
The Vasectomy thread is in Off Topic
 20.
Because everybody is searching for their ideal set up and if you try something that might be the answer and it isn't...then it's "a shame". I have no hidden agenda here. No need to try and read anything else into it! Harmless comment. Hardly worth mentioning really. But seeing as you did mention it... You don't think being disappointed in something could be described as "a shame"? You have never in your life tried something, not liked it and said "Oh, that's a shame!"? Do you always tough it out and go for the "Life is full of disappointment lad, just move on, no need to get emotional, stick to the facts." Personally if I have made an effort to try something new, whatever that may be, and it doesn't work out, I think "a shame" is a perfectly acceptable term to use. Of course if you want to use an innocent comment to justify your sentiments (Which do not need justifying in any way.) then go for it. See I think your second sentence stands up fine on it's own. It's a good sentence. It tells a story, it makes your point. Clear and concise. I like it. IMO your first sentence lets things down a bit because there is no need for it to be there. It is surplus to requirements. Also I don't understand why a "fact" cannot be "a shame" as well. I don't believe they are mutually exclusive. There is the possibility that your desire to express your preference for a Bergantino over a Compact may have clouded your perception. Maybe you thought I wrote, "It's a shame the Barefaced cab is not the answer because they are the best thing since sliced bread and anybody who doesn't agree is worse than Hitler." Maybe that's what you thought I said. I didn't. I said it was a shame someone tried something and didn't like it. Which IMO is "a shame." I don't like people to be disappointed. I am going for a few drinks with friends tomorrow. One friend can't make it. That is both a shame and a fact. Only joking...
21. I'm no expert, but would OBBM be able to knock up a jack to 4 pole speakon lead? I think that might do the trick.
 22. Ooo Well. It's served me well. But GAS calls. And its this time of the year so i have to abide...! I think its fair to say you know the crack with these. 600 watts of class D power, Tube pre. Lots of nice shiney blue LEDs! £450 OVNO Sorry this is the only picture i have at the moment, I'll put up more on request. There are a few small chips in the black paintwork but nothing to shout about. Cheers!
