1.
yea sorry the CL/AV ok. well i may buy an 8ohm 2x10 to take to gigs if im using an 8ohm cab
If you can afford too that tone would be worth it! Even if you just faced the 2x10 at your drummer or something
 2. The CL? Ampeg says no. Which was in fact a recent deciding factor against me getting it. I think all the other SVTs are fine at 8ohms though
 3. I believe thats only Fully tubed heads, a tube pre should be fine with no load, so you dont need to worry about that.
 4. I second interparcel Used them for a valve pre, and recieved a few cabs from them
 5. Really hankering after a Valve amp with loads of character! Oh, hang about lads...!
 6. Now thats a tastey and tasteful little rig
 7. I'm definately not on the ball today! Anyway, Ill have to make it to one of your gigs WoT, Those videos ive seen of you look like great fun!
 8. That looks absaloutly stunning, Like, really. What are you doing with your old one might i ask??
 9.
you wouldn't be after a 1001RBII again would you?
It worked wonderfully with my music man, but just didnt let my jazz breathe. Are you not getting on with yours??
 10.
So that'll be the effect of increased cable capacitance reducing your treble. You could of course just turn down the tone knob on your bass... Alex
Alex i think your my hero ^_^
 11. Haha. No really, Not for sale! I really cant be without a rig for any length of time. Things need to be lined up and such!
 12. Its funny how this place works! Whenever i want a sale I'm inundated with trades and now i want a trade ive had about 4 enquiries on each item!! Im going to leave them both out for trade a bit longer, but i'll keep in contact with regards to a sale.
 13.
I did see the same stuff on Ebay but it's not mine. Thought I'd try here for a start. Although I am selling My Sadowsky bass on ebay just now if anyone wants to check it out.

I'm gonna let the ebay auction run seeing as it's costing me money.
Ahem. Edit;- Ive just realised you probably mean the sadosky. In which case i whole heartedly apologise and will officially get off your back
 14. I thought i may aswell put this up for trade properly now as i have nothing better to do with my life! Most of you know that both of these are able to punch WELL above their weight (pun intended) but i just fancy a change. Im really not after cash unless i have another rig lined up. Im happy to trade both for a good quility head with a little cash my way. Anyway, Markbass Little Mark II

450 watts at 4ohms
dead light
very usable filters (mid scoop and vintage emulator)
And Schroeder 1212R

2x12 compact cab
1000watt power handeling (not a typo, Itll hold its own alright!!)
4ohm
comfortable one man lift
fully adjustable and very musical horn
Heres a shot of it in use at Glastonbury behind our very own synth player and in my room, showing you the miniscule size of this loud mother! I also wont be using the sennheiser freeport if i get a good valvey head so if youd like to incorporate that into a deal, just let me know! Cheers guys.
 15. Your the fella trying to sell this on ebay arnt you? Why dont you pop on over to the introductions page and let us know who you are and what your about. This is a place for likeminded (and sometimes slightly warped) bassists, Unfortunately its not a free eBay. Theres also a thread in eBay links to your listing with regards to your price, which you may want to go and have a nosey at! I do hope you find yourself at home!
 16.
Interesting thread, this one... Stlye-wise & tone production-wise (the human end of the chain) I sound like me. Only my style produces what I do. Think of it as a mix of classically trained lower string player meets jazz bass player meets funk/rock/blues player. You get the drift... Gear-wise, I'm going to use the MarkBass mantle. They say that their gear lets the true sound of your bass shine through with a minimum of processing or modelling. When I'm playing my Status basses, I sound like a Status player. Very unique sound, but still a little different on each bass. When I'm playing my Fenders, I guess they sound like Fenders on very clean strings. Always very clean strings. A friend of mine once said that I had a very trebly, zingy sound.
I'd Actually love to hear you play sir! Do you have any clips?
 17.
I'm clearly not 'down with the kids'...are you saying you have built one Ste...or would like to try one...I must be getting old I don't understand a word of it.... I know you wanted one..... Dave edit...just read your gear tag.......that was quick pal.....how do you find the single 10.5 sounds on its own ?
Sorry Dave, Just got round to noticing this! Its actually surprisingly ballsy! Ample for small gigs i think. I was expecting it to struggle delivering different tones for some reason, but its got quite a range. And i understand what people mean with regards to the sound being the same whereever you are in the room - Good stuff!
 18. Most basses should be able to have a low action if set up properly!
 19. Do you have any pictures i can gawp over please? I start summer work soon.... Mmmm!
 20. Youll be pleased to know the Mag300 and rackcase once belonged to me! I actually found the head to be very useable! Contrary to popular belief. I believe its the Mag cabs that let the side down.
 21. What amp are you driving it with? and what bass do you use? Most modern speakers be it 8, 10, 12 or 15 will be able to reproduce a very bright sound without the additional tweeter, so have a play around with EQ and maybe some new strings. Tweeters add a sort of "sparkle" or "sheen" to the sound which to some equates to unwanted fret or finger noise!
 22. I think Bass Ferret meant more about the internal volume of the cab Vs. the speaker design, But hey, if it sounds good who cares!
 23. Lol, you cant get a P bass. Wouldnt suit ya! Are you in preston at the moment by the way? Im in the venue on friday if you want that speakon lead!
 24. I have almost that exact bacchus but it was a fretless to fretted conversion so dosnt have the nice blocks. I do love my bacchus and im very jealous!
