2.
That was quick...
Your right, it was! But ive recently had a bit of news concerning my music, thats made me seriously need one high quility setup and not a few small bits and bats!
 3.
Yep, you're definitely after Alan's crown
sh'up you!
 4. Aha yes! Its just one of the few pictures i have in good light, and taking another seemed a lot of hassle! heh. Thanks
 5. Once ive got a perfect rig i can then start playing with things i dont really need! unfortunatly this is one of them. I picked it up for £300 from new in a sale, And i'd like to get as near to that as possible (I know as soon as it leaves the shop it loses a third or what have you, but from what i've heard this is pretty desirable around these parts!) Id rather have it picked up purely because i dont have a box to ship it in. but if your desperate i can sort something out! Anyway, its a 4 string fretless with....

Ebanol fretboard
Heavy duty bridge
3 way Bartlollini electronics
"slap switch" with variable depth and gain control
Teeny tiny body, super comfortable!
The most fantastic finish youve ever seen!
Bartollini MK1 Pickup
More pics or detail pics on request Thanks for lookin!
 6.
It looks like i'm going to sell the Rick copy i bought off a fellow Basschatter a couple of weeks ago. i believe its an Electra. I played it at practise tonight and its not really my cup of tea. i would like what i paid for it. here's the original thread. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=6146 I'll post some pics Tomorrow if anyones interested.
Can i ask what turned you off so much?
 7. badabadabadabumpppppp Offers listened too. And if anyone wants to grab them at the northwest mini bash thats fine too!
 8. Thatd be fantastic! however dont believe what Alan and Mike say, i dont just give money to anyone!! Im quite literally a two minute drive away, so yeah!
 9. thinking about it, we've somehow ended up with an extra little re-cycling bin and we have an ice machine... so if someone (cough Ped) can get me a lift so im not blatently thieving i could!
 10. Not as regular as i think everyone would like! But there becoming more popular
 11. I know! Its gonna be a reet giggle. Seriously though, someone needs to bring a (clean) dustbin and lots of ice!
 12.
I'd simply suggest another cab!
LOL! I cant believe no ones mentioned this yet... Total D'oh! moment!! good on ya!
 13. Just to let anyone know, i have a Stagg Cheapo acoustic guitar, and its held up just fine for the few years ive had it. and it plays aswell as just about anything. so yeah, this would be grand if your not sure about fretless!
 14.
I didn't even know yo had a Bongo, and thought you had a Lakky??
I did!! Heh, I really liked the lakland too, but ive always wanted a bongo so i sold the lakland on to fund it. and i think it was a good choice thus far Are you still after a small cab matt? that 12's pretty powerful even on its own.
 15. Also, the Pro Fet series warwicks are renowned for being a particularly quiet 300 watts, I do remember when i had a 4ohm 410 and there was also an ashdown electric blue at the same studio, and voume wise there was very little in it. shame cos tonally there pretty sweet!
 16.
You're going to be rivalling Alan soon for most things bought and sold via Basschat
Aha i know! Its not a bad way of doing things though really, I have a sort of money system, "things i need" and "Basschat Fund!" It means i can get new gear pretty much constantly but i might only put a hundred quid in every few months, or trade some gear. What would i do without basschat!
 17. ...and the search continues. Anyway up next we have two rather pretty looking Warwick Neo cabs. Im the second owner, I recieved them in a trade deal a few months ago. And i was hugely impressed! Untill i got my GK head. And i really like the GK tone and these just arnt doing it for me. Plus im looking at a one cab solution. so yars! heres a picture taken about 5 minutes ago with my Bongo and GK- The 12" Is an easy one hand lift, and im no macho man! The 15 is liftable with one hand if your a bit taller, but is more than easy enough to lift in a cradeling manner, and will be easy enough on that killing desent into the boot! Naturally speaking, the cabs are quite middy, and thus cut through the mix really well. But if thats not your juice they do respond well to EQ! Im up for trades on other cabs. Im not to fussy about them being lightweight. But i think im going to be looking at a schroeder next! Anyway, Ill start at £500 for the pair, PM me if you want to sort out shipping them. I dont want to do it but if needs must! If theres any interest in seperating, let me know also. Cheers guys!
 18. I'd agree with the above, however i think with it being 6u it'll not make much difference, its gonna be a big heavy bugger either way!
 19. eesh... guys! Lets keep on topic yeah... *nervous laugh*
 20.
Whatever you play, play with conviction. If you're not sure, play a rest. Listen to the drummer - he may not be listening to you (some midnight philosophy)
Do we have a basschat quotes thread? If we do ththat is straight where this is going! Fan-bloody-tastic!
 21.
Are there pictures of the Yamaha?
Im afraid theyve both sold, but there where pictures in the first post if you want to know what youve missed out on! And bassbunny i cant wait to try it out! im now the proud owner of a HS5 bongo and im interested to see if i made the right desicion!
 22. I'd sell the hartke Stuff, keep the Tech cab and buy a markbass head and go from there...! Fact is, Any 15s from about the last ten years will be more than happy being a fullrange cab and not just a "sub"! From the sounds of things i believe youll be pleasently surprised!
 23. just a quick free bump, used to be mine and eds a great guy to deal with. dead smooth transaction.
 24. Its like seeing your best mates 21 year old sister naked... You really know you want to look but something just isnt right...! Needless to say, If th chance came along... so yeah, its safe to say i bloody love it!
