Is that the one poulton way? Not the royal oak on waterloo road? Similar story on saturday, in blackpool aswell! Where due to play a gig at Riffs, we'd been asked to headline, all fine and dandy, got a fair few people down. And the promotor didnt turn up untill 9, and we didnt have time for a set before the clubs curfew! F'kin joke. The blackpool scene is pretty atrocious. Prestons not so bad, The Venue and 53 are cracking.

But i dont care much for the 35inch scale , and im only selling so i can get a bass im as happy with as i am my amp [list] [*]Bartollini MK 1 pickups and 3 band pre [*]hipshot ultralite tuners [*]cherry burst on flamed maple [*]push/pull passive pot [*]string through body [/list] Real joy to play, actions as low as you like and yeah! Cool beans. I'd like what i paid for it back, which is £450 - Prefere pickup or meet but im sure we can arrange postage if the former is not possible. Second up, we have a yamaha BB605. Now its former owner does have first dibs on this but i'll register any interest while he gets back to me. I know, ive promised everyone that once i get my head im done basswise!! Needless to say i dont see that lasting long... And whats better is that my girlfriend actually paid half of this for my Valentines present! I've taken back the £3.99 box of guylian...

You know, i was never actually intending to buy another bass! But i walked into a small store in preston, saw this and simply thought i HAVE to have that bass! For anyone wondering, for the £300 i payed, i simply couldnt be happier. It looks even higher quility in the flesh, and feels it too! Really light tiny body, which i love! The same Bart pickup and leccys as in my lakland and yeah! Really nice fast neck. Still sat here looking at it

okay, heres the best i can do in this light... this bass is bloody gorgeous!! And the best bit? Its a Cort Curbow and cost £300 brand new... plays and sounds fantastic... im still in awe!! more to follow at the weekend when i have good light!

Just to add i know Josh and hes been a great fellow to deal with, buy in confidence -
I came to a bit of a crossroad bass wise not long ago. It basically boiled down to me either having one absaloute killer bass that i wouldnt want to leave my room, or two basses that are still brilliant but i wouldnt mind if they got a wee ding. I chose the two basses, untill the day i can afford to have all three! heh.
