1. Thanks Jim, i hope you dont mind me posting the picture you took! Will entertain trades for an amp head.
2. Well. To be brutally honest, i feel a bit guilty putting this here. I hyped up for so long before getting it. Initially had a slight problem with it, And wasted a fair amount of time on the phone to Mr. DHA himself baffling him with technical Jargon like "Can you hear that?" And "Will i get electrocuted?" Needless to say, its fine now! But i dont know, I just dont think the Tubes are for me. I play in a band with a lot of dirty synths, And i planned on using the overdrive to pad out the guitar section, but it just got a little lost. Naymind eh! So here it is for you guys, Up at what i think is a fair price of £400 Here it is with my rig anyway(Look at those LEDS!) And all the specs and suchlike can be found here, Dave Hall VT-5 Studio Bass Pre If i can find a box i could probably post at expence. But would really like to avoid if at all possible. thanks, Stephen

6.
You're not very tall Wil, makes your rig look enormous mate.
Its for this very reason i go out with small girls, Makes yer manhood look jassive. /machoism.
7. How the F*ck have they managed that?! Thats bloody fantastic! I Really hope this is as good as i hope it is!
8. Someones coming to try out and possibly take my Mule tomorrow Ped... If thats all succesfull i think i might take this off you!
9. I've recently recieved the VT-5 Pre, And Even through a cheapo ashdown amp it sounds wonderful, Lots of tonal varieties. And its only downfall (The EQ) seems to have been already addressed, So! What can i say?
10. Your Quite right. I'll Offer it at what i paid for it. Will come with gigbag. I dont think anyone can argue with the price really? Ped had a tinkle last weekend and quite enjoyed it! Although i shall leave that to him! So there we have it, £550 no offers still entertaining trades for a 5 string
11. Did you get my second pm sir?
12.
Nice one Stephen! I think it sounds and looks great. I'll post a pic of the Eden after my gig on Saturday night.
Yeah! Still tinkering with that DHA trying to get the levels and everything right. But its a very rewarding pre! Not 100% on the Hartke yet but its unfair to say without putting it in a band situation.
13. thanks guys! We dont make any money on a personal basis, it all goes into keeping our studio together. Which is fine by me really! Expect a tour in the coming year should anyone fancy a visit.
14. could a mod please embed this? Anyway yeah, Was a real long night of filming. and i dont think its turned out too bad really. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BH5J492qjNI
15. Well heres my latest fill! DHA VT-5 Studio bass Ashdown Mag 300 Hartke 2200pro. The ashdown was supposed to be a "just for the time being" amp cos i got it for such a great price, but in truth, it sounds wonderful! I think everything balances nicely now, the warmth and "woolyness" of the valves and the ashdown are balanced out nicely by the zing of the aluminium cones and the horn.
16.
Cost. The QS410 has speakers with whizzer cones, not dual voice coils. Check out what people say about the treble response of the EA Wizzy, which AFAIK is the only other whizzer cone bass cab on the market. I used to own a whizzer cone cab and it's quite a neat solution to added treble without electrical crossovers (the voice coil / cone/ whizzer cone flexible joint acts as a mechanical crossover) and mid/tweeter units. Alex
I think the roland cube bass combos actually utilize this aswell. but dont quote me on that
17. I think ebay may well be your best bet. I ended up getting rid of my 3.2s AND 410 Pro for £200 simply because i couldnt get any takers! Best of luck though.
18. Might be interested in the cab Steve, Keep one hartke at home and one in the studio! I shall keep bein touch if i manage to sort out my poweramp issues.
19. Jeeze man that must quite genuinly be gutting. Every hope that justice will be done!
20. Used to be mine this, can vouch for it being a lovely fast neck and all round great player.
21. Likewise, i dont own a bass i couldnt live without at the moment. But im really falling further for my BB605... bleh.
22. back to page one! Feel Free to PM me with a cash offer should you desire, I can only say no
23. +1 on the more apparent feedback. but most of its just about common courtesy. I've bought and sold numerous bits on here with no problems. I've always Made sure there is a strong line of contact though, I dont think i would do a deal if i didnt have at least phone number.
