Someone buy this now...or my bay window roof will continue to leak for another month. :-)
if you buy this, you will probably end up blowing all your windows out,so the leak will be the least of your worries....I think that's somehow a positive!
4. You don't need a pick up to transport this, but it sure helps ;-)

9. That is awesome, didnt know these were out. Is it a nitro finish or just flat poly? Would love to stick a pre amp in one of these :-) Si

11.
All good points. I personally still (generally) prefer passive basses though. Have started looking for secondhand USA Sterlings too.
Wise choice,I think my usa sterling is me sorted for good now,I have basses come and go but nothing even comes close, the neck is perfect and the EQ is everything I could need, the slap tone, with the pickup selector towards bridge,is to die for! don't come up for sale too often though, probably a good sign,or maybe just because everyone buys a stingray Si
12. Very nice. Don't fancy a trade plus cash for my 5 string Warwick do you? Cheers
13. It's only a few miles from me so got me interested... http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=321169834712

15. Hi all, I brought this 2 months ago for my second stab at 5 string and you can probably guess the rest, not really getting on with it and always go to my 4 string. Its a German made 5 string corvette in swamp ash,in near mint condition. It has 2 band active eq,which can be switched to passive by pulling the volume knob I think this Bass is brilliant, with the adjustable nut and fully adjustable bridge,it really is very innovative. You can even adjust string spacing. Really well made and pretty light, and as I said in near mint condition. I'm just looking for what paid, although am more up for a trade, looking for a jazz or p with jazz neck, or ideally another mm sterling! More pics tonight....please note the fret markers are just stick on eBay jobies,as I couldnt face learning a new string and learning where the frets are! 16.
I had an interesting thought this morning. Are there bass guitar brands that don't seem to mix? The one that sprang to my mind was Musicman and Warwick. I don't think I've seen anyones collection owning both of these brands? Got any others?
My two beauties. :-)
17. Hope that pj has a jazz neck like the old deluxe p basses did,I can't see it written anywhere
18. Secondhand Musicman Sterling worth a look. Slim and already sanded down so very quick
19. Hi all, brought these for my musicman but really don't get on with the gauge feel way too slim for me,they are 35 55 75 95. Used them for 2 hours so basically new 7 quid posted Please note THESE ARE CUT TO MUSICMAN LENGTH,IE THE G STRING WON'T FIT A FENDER 4 INLINE TUNER SET UP to avoid disappointment Thanks Simon 07533 371648
20. I brought a candy apple jazz bass off of Big Muff earlier this year, was a pleasure to deal with and was a very easy fast deal. Have a bump on me Simon
