1. Received Dave's Torque amp today, very happy! Wicked price too, will get me out of trouble while my LG is away for repair, and will be a great backup amp. Happy days!
2. Anyone? This'll probably on the 'bay soon otherwise!
3. Unfortunately not...I work right through any normal hours (8 til 5), so posting, or courier collection, is a pure ball-ache! This should be changing hands Saturday, so its sold pending that tomorrow. I'll update the thread if the situation changes.
4. So I managed to source some off a kind forum member in the wanted section, and here's how mine look!
5. I bought this cab off Mike back in January, and was damn impressed by the build quality! Unfortunately, the speaker and amp I had ready to drop in and combine with this blew, so I've not even bolted a speaker into it, and its been sitting in my spare room, unused since then! Which is a shame, because its a fabulous cab. Its a really light cabinet, with a metal grill. There's a hole for a port tube (though pictured, is not included), and a backplate to take an input connector. There's a female speakon socket that screws straight into this, which i'll include. The cab is both tilt-able and usable upright, and handles are built into the sides. Finished in black plasti-cote crinkle paint and metal corner protectors, plus rubber feet. I paid just £29 for this, and thats all I want for it to make my money back. Its an absolute steal at this price, and I even thought about buying a 15" speaker to drop in there, but havent had the resources, so its easier just to sell. I'm based in South Wales, and really would prefer collection of it, as I haven't got any time to package it up and wait for a courier, as I work 8-6 every day. I'd even be open to swapping it with something of equal value. But as for what that is, I don't know! 6.
Sorry guy's but i really don't get this. It's kinda like the road worn / marmite thing. I know it's different stroke's for different folk's and i don't want to p1$$ anyone off but they do look chav. Soz Runs and hides under blanket
Post ironically summed up by the "Soz". Haha They're definitely a love/hate thing, thats for sure. I've personally just received a set off a fellow basschatter who didnt get on with them. Neon orange! Oh yes! They'll be going on tonight. They look the dog's, just whether they play well or not, I've yet to find out.
7. I love how knowledgeable this forum is I've never seen a jazz like that at all before. Personally I think having the upper horn like that looks horrendous too (and my guess is so did they, given it appears production of it didn't last too long?)
8.
funny!!
Necro buuuump!
9. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/fender-american-jazz...s-/260794131332 Forgive me, but that upper horn just looks odd?
10. Just had a Line 6 CrunchTone off the 'bay, but unfortunately it doesn't do as much in terms of gain as I'd hoped (well, as much as my guitarist had hoped). So I bought an UberMetal off someone on here instead. And thus, this pedal is now redundant. Wanting to make my money back, so I'm after £16 + postage for it. Should work out at £20 all in. Comes with box and instruction booklet. So its pretty much like new! That, or I'd happily look at swapping it for something! Maybe a cheap bass octaver, or some other random bass effect! W.H.Y? 11. Just received and dropped in a set of CIJ jazz pickups off Chris. Great guy, no problems whatsoever!
12. Bought a hard case for my Jazz off Mel. Great to deal with, and was easy communicating to get it shipped here in tip top shape
13. Mike's Snarling Dogs bass wah changed hands, and has been in my possession for some time now. Easy and swift transaction, and VERY well packaged and psoted. Great guy!
14. Shall give this a mighty bump for a recent transaction with Celso. Bought a set of Highway One p pickups off him. Arrived no problem. Smooth as butter!
15. Thats cool mate! Consider it sold Shall PM you now!
16. While I would otherwise post a thread in the wanted section, this may be a useful place to ask if those of you who've bought, tried and taken off your neons, would you be interested in selling them on for myself to try out? Really been gazing at them for many a month now, but never got round to buying any. And of course, I'd rather pay a little less and try out a used set first before ordering a fresh new pack.
17. Would you go any lower on the ubermetal mate? As I'll be needing a new knob or two (snarf). edit: and just to check, its the whole pedal yup? (not just the changeable interface)
18. Just completed a transaction with mart, sold him a p-bass pickup cover. Smooth and super quick transaction! Top bloke
