Hi - it's definitely a Japanese Geddy. I had a bass put together by Jack's in Manchester using this body, and asked him to sign the neck pocket for me. Hope that clears it up!

I'll get a weight for it later on tonight if that's ok - need to dig out the scales. It has the steel reinforcement rods. Cheers

This is a beautiful neck and is made with birdseye maple and jet black ebony for the fretboard. Made in 2011, so the frets are fine and it hasn't been abused or gigged a whole lot in that time, so it's in excellent condition. Truss works fine.
