1. Very cool bass, and nice review too. Promenade is my local music shop and I've been meaning to try out the G-3 they've had there for ages...guess I won't bother now! I picked up an original 1976 G-3 earlier this year and it's currently being restored, but having owned one previously, they're really cool basses that pack a real punch. Good buy!
2. Undone (The Sweater Song) - Weezer
3. I'm certain I've read that a Hiscox Burns Bison bass case fits a Grabber/G-3/Ripper. I've been looking as my G-3 doesn't have a case...can't say about the RD, but might be worth looking into
4. My spidey sense tell me is looks like it belongs to Quimby who is a member on here
5. Sold pending payment - thanks all!
6. Forgot to say - has velcro on back!
7. Hi all, I'm sure most of you know about this fuzz. Sounds amazing. I need to free up some cash to get a bass restored, so once I'm sorted financially I'll be buying another one, but for now this has to go. Mint condition, never gigged - only had it about 3 months. There are reviews all over Youtube and the internet. £115 shipped within the UK. ***SOLD*** No trades please. I can do pics if really necessary, but it is mint.
8. Hey Ste, Unfortunately this sold this afternoon..going to update the thread now. It's very 'dirty Matamp'...which is good! I see you've got a GT200 Mk2 on order...you still keeping the B-15?
9. Hi all, I've had this up for sale previously, and withdrawn it, but now it's definitely for sale! This is an 'Orange-flavoured' overdrive and distortion, hand-made in the USA by Earthquaker Devices. There are only a handful of reviews for this on bass, but all are extremely positive. It can be used eaither as a clean(ish) boost due to the amount of volume on tap, or pushign up the gain makes for a lovely valvey tone. Having previously owned an Orange AD200B, and a fan of the old Orange/Matamp bass tones, this pedal gets a great sound very similar to that. When I've used it, I just used it as a slight tuey break-up which cut through great and was very responsive to player dynamics. Ive had this pedal since February so it is in great condition, comes with velcro on the back. Paid £133 shipped back then, and now looking for £90 plus a fiver shipping? ***NOW SOLD THANKS!*** This pedal can be run at either 9v or 18v. Sounds superb at both, but I'll include my Diago 18v adaptor (think I paid about £12 for it) in the sale. Not looking to sell it separately thanks. Bargain! Any questions please ask... 11. Hi Lloyd, Not a stupid question at all. Yep, still available. The back has a sliding panel, which is held in with a screw and a knob. You can see it on the far left on the bottom picture. Cheers!
12. The poor solder joints add to the mojo and make it sound as good as it does.
13. Yeah I know...I should just find a box and get it shipped. I'll try and dig something out at work this week and update this thread!
14. Eeeh this fella used to be mine. Great pedal - good luck with the sale!
15. Bump...not had any interest in this. It's a great, super lightweight piece if kit in excellent condition! I'm in Manchester on Wednesday if that's any help for people with collection?
16. Year of birth bass, and a real looker to boot! I've never played one of the Yamaha BB's but I've always thought they look great basses. Alas, no cash, but good luck with the sale!
17. Hi all, I'm selling my Boschma 4U Shallow rack case as I no longer have an amp to go in it, so it's sat here doing nothing. Gigged once, and treated very kindly, it's in pretty much excellent condition! Comes with a 1U panel that I bought separately, but don't need to keep it so I'll throw it in for nothing! I'd prefer collection from Lancaster, or I'm in Manchester on Wednesday night (15th May) so can deliver if you're in that area. If I can get away without shipping, I'd prefer it, but if you're really wanting it, I'll see what I can do. Looking for £45 thanks very much! 18. Tasty. Where did you get the bridge cover from?
19. Those late 90's early 2000's basses were great. I had one that looked exactly like this and sold it many moons ago. Good luck with the sale!
20. Monarch into TFR is great. With the gain on the Monarch up high, it really compresses the muff, but with it reasonably low, it just makes the muff a bit more snarly. Very cool!
21. Aye, she's a baby, like!
