3.
Interesting. Kinda sad that he brushed over the Arc so briefly without messing with the dip switches. Also seemed to have the volume lower than the Wren & Cuff which made it sound like it had less 'umph' in the video, but you can at least get from the video that the clarity on the Arc seems better, assuming they have the tone knobs equal. I'd like to try the Wren & Cuff but the Arc is truly my favourite muff clone i have tried and certainly the closest to the original, allbeit with much more low end and tone options. Umcoo, i'll be interested to hear how you get on!
Yeah I'll post my findings. Going on videos from Youtube, it seem the W+C has a bit more of a gritty sound and is less gain that the BGP (which is what I'm looking for) so we'll see!
4. I just ordered a TFR that's sat in Parcelforce's depot at the moment. Should get it in a day or two...looking forward to it!
5. Really nice grain on that body. I'm half-temped to strip my G-3 now to see what the grain's like on that
6. So that's where my old pickguard got to!! Haha, looks like a great project mate. I'll be watching this one.
7. Looks good Neepheid. I've got a Gibson G-3 project sat under my bed at the moment waiting on a new pickguard. I always thought these big bodied Gibson basses would look great with a Lake Placid Blue or Ocean Turquoise finish.
8. Having second thoughts on this, so withdrawing it for the time being. Thanks all for interest so far!
9. Very nice, love the sunburst
10. After a quick play around, with EQ both at noon, there's no bass loss, and very slight treble boost. Obviously turning them clockwise after noon they increase accordingly
11. Sorry Bob, I saw you had that for sale, but I'm only after either two I mentioned. Cheers Dan!
12. Hi Bob, Not particularly, I'm after either Wren and Cuff Tall Font or a Phat Phuk B, so pretty specific I'm afraid
13. Hi all, Having a shuffle of my pedals and this one is next to go. I've had this pedal since about February this year and it is in excellent condition. For those who don't know what it is, it is a pedal designed to emulate a 70's Orange amp so it has a really nice overdrive sound which can get pretty heavy with the gain turned all the way up. There's not much around about using these on bass but it keeps the low end just fine and the bass and treble EQ section add a great amount of tonal range. I wrote a quick review of it when I first picked it up which is at... This cost me just over £130 from guitar guitar not long ago. Here's a few pics, but anything you want to know, please ask! Thanks
14. No idea, but being a vintage Orange, I'd imagine it sounds glorious
15. Sold Jim a Jazz pickguard. Great comms, nice chap, many thanks mate!
16. Fair play. One of the diode switches on this give it flat mids though so cuts through just fine. Saying that, I love the classic muff mid-cut, so it doesn't bother me!
17. I guarantee this would destroy the Bass Big Muff and the Deluxe version!
