3. When I got a green muff from america, i owed £24 in charges and the guy just wrote on the box 'don't worry about it'. Got a letter a few days later saying i owed them, but ignored it! nada problemo! enjoy your pedals, that filter looks great
4. spog, why are you bumping every ashdown thread from like last year?
5. I'll answer this cos I used to have one, you can only play one bass through it. There's the solid state preamp, tube preamp, and then you can select both at the same time. I liked both when I had mine
6. David Hungate - from the band 'Toto'
7. How awesome is this bassline?? I ask you!? I can't stop playing it, pretty easy to play, fun song, good times! It's really rekindled my love of bass lines as opposed to GASsing over awesome fuzzes and synths! I think this and 'I want you back' by the jacksons are my favourite bass lines to play. Anyone for anymore?

12.
I am thinking of removing the pickguard on my Urge MX Bass , however there is a little bit of gap in the bottom of the neck join (see picture) , will it be ok to remove the pickguard , I dont want anything bad happening to my neck due to moisture getting in the gap , however it is not unusual to have a gap in the bass or treble side of a neck pocket so I do not think this will be a problem , what do you think?
I think you'll be ok
13. Give me half an hour and I'll gte some pics up. First one to PM me can have it
14. I have a good condition Tortoisesheel Precision pickguard. Says Made in Japan on the back. I used to have a US Precision, and I honestly can't remember if it fit perfectly, I'm very picky about my tort, so only put it on when I first got it which was years ago. Has 13 holes, I'll try and get pics up tomorrow, but just a heads up for everyone. Looking for £18 posted Merci
15. That is the one Mr Merton, however someone has beaten you to it, so I'm just sorting that out, but if it doesn't happen you can have it. Cheers
16. bizzump..offers friends? it's just sat doing nothing
17. I'm selling my perfect condition of Standing on the Shadows of Motown, or whatever it's called! Features a CD, and transcripts of loads of Jamerson's basslines. This book doesn't have tab, I bought it with the intention of learning to read music, but thats coming on a bit slower than hoped! Looking for £20 posted, let's have ya!

21. I'll just chime in here even though it's an oldish post, and say what a great cause this is. I do volunteering for the alzheimer's society and i can say that all donations are very welcome! so well done basschatters
22. Hi Dave, Due to being really bored, I've thought about starting to build my own effects. Probably quite simple things first, but I was just wondering if you had any tips or advice. Sure, there's plenty on the web, but I thought basschats own pedal guru may offer some more?! Any thoughts on tools and things to get started? I'll probably pick up a breadboard firstly and work around with that...good idea?? Many thanks
