I'm feeling a bit mad. I love these two, but money is low and I've just bought a sovtek big muff which i've been after for years. So they're up for sale. First off is the Wren and Cuff. I've had this about a month, never gigged. Only had about 2 hours use I'd say. I paid £110 for this with customs so I'm saying £90 shipped. There are sound sample here http://wrenandcuff.com/pickled_bass.html Next up is my DHA VT2 Dual Bass. Basically 2 VT1's in a case, this thing can get a nice valvey wamth to tone, as well as kicking in the other stage to get a lot more out of control! This is an early version and doesn't have the holes for the valves or the EQ on some of the newer models, but still sounds the tits. Theres a lot of talk about them on here so do a search! Paid £90 off here for it so looking at £75 shipped. I'm open to offers on both, but nothing too stupid! Thanks...I've got pics of both, but photobucket is being a douchebag at the moment so il try and get them up later on.

Ishibashi is a shop in Japan I believe. I saw that LPB jazz on ebay, but I think that was an individual seller.

Ishibashi hasn't taken the money from account yet, but with customs and everything I'm looking at around £500 - £550.

s_u_y...don't hesitate. I'm tempted to say it's the best bass I've ever played, but I'll hold out until the new bass excitement calms down! Nath, indeed it is lovely! Now who wants to send me a lovely trace combo? Anyone?

I just got this about an hour ago. It was freezing cold so I've let it warm up and then gave it a quick run through. Construction and quality is excellent! Feels great and the neck is a bit different after having a Precision for 5 years. This isn't a very good review...but here's some lovely pics anyways! :hyper:

When I ordered it was 108,000 yen which came to around £450. Then the customs on it were £106 so yeh. Ishibashi still havent taken the money from my card though. So it may be more than that, or less.

i'm getting a cij 75 reissue on monday hopefully. Paid the customs today...comes to around £550. I'll let you know how it is

I'm getting the Candy Apple Red version very soon! It's in Coventry at the moment! Can't wait!

Thanks mate! I've put them up in the FS too see if anything happens. To be honest, I don't pay much attention to amps. I like a good bass and good effects, but an amp is an amp to me! Thanks for your suggestions Eude, I'll have a gander!

I'm still undecided on this, but I'm not gigging now and just need a small combo to practice, so seeing if there's any interest. Firstly, a Peavey T-Max, bought off here in 2005. Works perfectly, i believe it's 225w into 8 ohms, and 350w into 4 ohms, but I may be slightly off. Has a separate valve and solid state preamp which can be used separately or together. These are now discontinued. Secondly, an Ampeg 410E. Also bought off here last year I think, I don't know too much about this. I believe it's the predecessor to the Ampeg 410HE and has a lower wattage handling. Around 200-300 watts I'd say. Comes on castors and is rated at 8 ohms. Not sure when it's from, but seems very old...80's/90's perhaps? Still works great though and has that classic ampeg sound. Both these are located in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria, but I would possibly be able to get them to Lancaster for pickup also (if my girlfriend is feeling generous!) Looking for £200 each, or £350 for the pair. Don't want to ship them with them being heavy, but PM me anyways! Thanks for looking...ignore all the sexy pedals on top...they're mine!

Hello there. I'm thinking about selling my Peavey T-Max and Ampeg 410E. I'm not in a band anymore and rarely play very loudly (due to the amp being in my room), so I'm thinking of just getting a small combo. Has anyone downgraded and regretted it? I'd be looking for around 100W, perhaps an old Trace off ebay or something. Thanks

i might sound an idiot here, but if you order online do you get actualy tickets, or can i get one now, and use the paypal printoff to get in? also, anyone else going on their own? Noone else I know would pay £17 to watch me walk around going 'ooohhh' and 'aaahhh'

I'll be going Dave. I'd love to try out the new amp, and I'll be sure to say hello! Not sure if you remember, but you fixed my DHA VT2 Dual Bass a few months ago...I'm still loving it! Cya Sunday

For some reason I thought this was a week on Saturday. Looks like I'll be going anyhoot!

seems pretty normal to me

I actually loled when I saw that

Imagine an octaver (one that doesn't track too greatly) whilst playing a low E. Like a bit out of control, but still useable I would say!

So, I got this pedal yesterday. It's a 'cousin' of the big muff/way huge swollen pickle pedals and cost me around £90 with £24 customs whn it got here. Bearing in mind I have only played a russian big muff (the black one, which I got rid of very quickly!), I wasn't really too sure what to expect. Construction-wise, this is built to last. Mine has the number 25 on it, and I believe they just got new cases, so it looks very professional and neat! As soon as I hooked it up and turned it on I was blown away. Great sound with an AMAZING amount of bass coming though! No need for a blend pedal with this thing. It has 3 knobs, volume, saturation and shape. Volume does what it says on the tin, saturation is the amount of fuzz and 'bite', and shape seems to bring in more and more bass. With shape and saturaion on full, it can be a little glitchy, but the amount of bass frequencies is amazing. I'm a big fan of Weezer and have been looking for that 'Tired of Sex' and Pinkerton-esque bass fuzz sound that Matt Sharp has. Needless to say, I've got it...by the bucketload. I highly recommend Matt at Wren and Cuff, his customer service was excellent, replies to emails very quickly, and I got this pedal with free international shipping! So yeh, sorry I have no soundclips and no, I can't get them because my computer is rubbish...and I am rubbish! Amazing pedal...check one out :hyper: www.wrenandcuff.com
