well... what's the fair price for a used M-500 pjb head?

hi,thank you very much! so ..the sound appears to compensate the 10kilos over the little mark 1 weight. no problem running it at 8 ohm? on web site i read : 8 ohm 280 watt... ok on the back of the head i read: maximum load 4o what does it mean?!?

hi. i'm thinking to change my markbass little mark 1 for something of superior class. maybe i have the possibility to sell tomorrow my little mark and bye the m500 pjb at the same price. what do you suggest? any feedback?

has somebody tried the M500 head with other cabs(no pjb)?? i'm curios about the M500, but i don't have money to get pjb cabs.

Hi guys! i have 2 cabs. one is a self made 1x15 with eminence delta speaker and tw. i like its sound more than my mark bass club 210. i need a cab with a more detailed sound, with more mid highs. the mark bass is a great cab, but it is a boooomy cab, i want a "crunchy" cab, like my 1x15 suggestions? i was looking for ebs, but i find only 4 ohm 2x10 cabs. have somebody tried the swr 4x8?

Hi guys! I got a DHA VT1. I'd like to know how do you use it. mine is the coulored one,so i've no switches,only the 3 knobs gain,I/P,Level. now i use it with gain at 12, I/P almost 3 and level a little little little bit after 3. i've changed the EH ECC83 valve with a GE ECC83. i noticed more clarity and less volume. but the difference is not easy to notice. how do you set your DHA VT1? how many of you have changed the original valve?

time is passed....opinions about DHA?

I,here in itay nobody know warwick cabs,and there are good deals with warwick cabs,for example like a Warwick Pro 211 at 200 euro! what do you think of warwick cabs? do you like more Ashdown ABM?(other brand with very low prices)

hi guys! i'm reupping this thread because i'm searching some good bass warmer! i use bdi21 behringer more Aphex Punch Factory,which togheter give an amazing tone to my jazz. now i have to changer my bdi21 because the adaptor connection is broken and i don't want to suck batteries. before to rebuy this effect,i want to know if there's something that give me the bdi21 sound better then the bdi21; for "better" i mean..more real.. (please don't tell me Sansamp,) i'm going crazy,there's so much stuff!! Black finger : 150 euro LPB 2ube: 150 euro Presonus tube pre: 80-90 euro Behringer bdi21: 46 euro DHA bass standard: 118 euro EBS Valve Drive: 200 euro BEHRINGER Tube Composer T1952: 110 euro (4 tubes!) if one of this effects/pre sounds more realistic then bdi21 and at the same time makes to become the Aphex Punch Factory unuseful(so i can sell it and gain 80-90 euro).....this will be the winner!!

guys,miracles exist! today while i was trying the bass,suddenly all turns to work well!! not distortion anymore,and all controls works!!! .....i don't know what to say... tonight i've jammed with my band. the sound with the audere pre amp seems to be the same in passive way. bass and mid controls are great,very useful. the Z switch also is very good. the only thing which leaves me doubts...the treble control... the difference from max and min level is very very very weak... what about treble control in your audere pre amps? anyway i will check the pre amp with a Meter,because i ear a weak weak weak hum noise. very weak,almost impossible to ear even when the other instruments were plugged out. but my American passive Precision had zero hum noise...so i want to check well the audere

[attachment=4300:audere_inside.JPG] updates: i connected the shield wires of each pick up with the whie/grey wire and with the bridge wire. hot and common of each pick up stay in the green box. now it happens something very very strange... if i plug my bass in the PC everything works.. if i plug my bass in my little 25w guitar amp and in my headphone amp.....battery led and Z switch don't work,and the sound is very distorced. this evening i will try with my bass head... but...everything is so weird......

hi guys.....i'm going crazy!! this is what i do: the pick ups (fender CS) have 3 wires. i put the hot wire and the common wire where the instructions say. then i connect the third wire(shield) of each pick up with the white/grey Audere wire and with the wire which goes to the bridge. the matter is: i get a very distorced sound, the Z -3 way- switch doesn't work and the battery led doesn't work when i connect the amp cable. the on board controls work. so...am i doing something wrong or my Audere pre-amp is bad? ps: if the white/grey wire touches the jack the led works!!!.... here there are instructions.. i know that MM use B&C speakers,but is only a floating voice..now i go searching a B&C web site edit: damn!BC has too many 10' speakers! i cannot know which is used for MM cabs!

mmm...the matter is that now i don't search a sound...i'm trying around to find my "cab sound". i've found my "bass sound",now let's watch at cabs! the fact is that bag end is not original,because the speaker is not bag end but Eminence

hi! there are in sale at the same price a Bag End cab with Eminence gamma 15 driver and a Music Man HD210 Cab. i can't try them. Music Man is a good brand,but i know that Eminence sound verryyyyy good. the price is the same for both: 250 euro used. what is better?

hi guys! i'm thinking to buy the amazing Audere JZ3 for my custom jazz bass in the next days. i have this needing because now i play in a pop band in which i have to shift among thousands of styles and sounds!! before buying Audere El. i want to know more about this strange box. in Italy isn't popular,nobody can tell me anything about it. Who is the bass player who needs this box? with an Audere JZ3 the Yamaha NE-1 becomes unuseful?or viceversa?

Hi guys! I've seen this cab used in a web shop at 250 euro.next week i guess it's in my house. i've never tried it,but i've always heard great voices about it and its cousin with 12'' driver. here in UK what do you know about this cabs?or at least about this brand?
