    That's a very good price, I have the Bass Centre version which is identical in all but name. Good playable instrument, the bartolini pick ups and electrics are superb.

    Hi, bit late to this one, but I'm quite a fan of the J Meek gear had a British Channel and a 3Q in the past and recently acquired the floor Q. All good gear with a distinguishable sound. As I recall the 3Q was a great pre-amp with a very effective eq section and as Simon states a 'juicy' compression.

    Great amp, used to have one of these going into an acoustic 4X15 cab at 2 ohms! Trouser flapping stuff.

    I have an old Boss RV-2 which is nice on bass, also a bit of short delay works well (apparently Jaco used to do that between his acoustic rigs)

    Yep Roland bass micro cube is superb I' 've had one from New a few years ago and it's great for smaller stuff jams practice etc goes for ages on batterlies alkaline or rechargeable plus tuner and a decent tone on the 360 setting

    I'm on the lookout for a couple to make a mini rig with an Eden wtx 260 Incidentally RATM do you think they'll take more than 100watts comfortably?

    Are the ratings the same? ie Ohms and handling power, if they are then it should be a straighforward swap and a good move (in my opinion).
