    Bought a Sonicake Pocket Master yesterday from Amazon as it was on special offer for £42.49 (still is at the moment) and it arrived last night. What a fantastic unit, great sounds/tones for it for bass guitar & six string electric guitar (although there's only 5 bass presets but you can overwrite some of the guitar ones if you want), it's terrific when you pair the unit with the software available from the Sonicake website for android mobile phone making it easier to change the presets on the Pocket Master. Really impressed with it and it's been perfect for silent practice last night and today, a total bargain, see pics below 😃 John

    I have the HB JP450P in natural that I bought of @Shepster8316 on here and it's an incredible bass that I play every day !!, beautiful neck on it, my favourite bass John

    Me and my son Joe queued for a few hours at Casbah Records in Greenwich last April For the 2LP limited edition of Ian Hunter's Defiance Part 2 - Fiction which had three tracks not on the original release. It was an OK experience and they had someone from the shop coming down the queue whenever a RSD release sold out so that anyone wanting it could bugger off !!. I got a copy which I was glad of, the kicker is I don't have a turntable so I haven't even to be listen to the three tracks 😂 but I am a bit of a completist when it comes to Mr Hunter who's my favourite songwriter !! John 😎

    Yes they gig a lot !!, though last year their USA shows fell through because of Visa problems, they paid someone to sort out the paperwork and the company messed it all up, then they toured Europe in October & November and had a lot of problems with their van. I'm looking forward to seeing them live this year as I've not seen them at a show yet, their albums are terrific and they have amazing voices, thanks for the reply John 😎

    My favourite musical highlight of 2024 was discovering the band 'The SoapGirls' who have independently released 4 albums so far with a new album due in 2025, they do fantastic and fun live streams on YouTube. The band is two sisters Camille (bass & lead vocals) & Noemie DeBray (guitar and lead vocals) who were born in France but live in South Africa, they write terrific Alternative Pop/Rock music with great melodies, lyrics and riffs, below is their latest video release of the song 'She Don't Wanna' from their fourth album 'In My Skin', terrific band She Don't Wanna John 😎
