BBS the deeper ones? I might have a Hammond one unused somewhere
  5. Also to be clear I would be uncomfortable having a DemonFX and would want to sand off the Aldi like branding
  6. There’s two things… analogue circuits - which you can’t copyright or patent so fair game for behringer/jhs/joyo/demonFX to copy. In diystompboxes / freestompboxes world some things from smaller makers sometimes get left alone, but then there’s a few pedals out there where the diy community mods then get sold back to people as a “boutique” pedal… design and trade dress - which is absolutely protectable under eu/uk/us law- where you take the design and copy it. This isn’t cool and where DemonFX probably overstep the line, but there’s a fine line - as Aldi packaging aping the premium brand is on the right side of the line… counterfit is where the pedal is trying to copy the real thing and be indistinguishable to it - DemonFX aren’t doing that.
  7. you need to send him one of your E's
  8. Nothing about Mr Travis lovely bass. I guess that comes down to which its rounds and which is flats?
  9. that's stupid - gear abstinence and not mindlessly purchasing things in a GAS fueled capitalist frenzy of consumption is a good thing. Part of that is fixing the things you have. If you chose to buy less clothes thread to mend your socks would defiantly be allowed.
  10. Oh my misunderstanding - I completely missed the post where you share your LeFay gift!
  11. The DemonFX Twin Fomage & Sizzling Pig sandwich?
  12. I'ld like to try, but would have to sand off the decals
  13. LeFay make Ritter's pickups? or vice versa?
  14. thats the bass in mind version or something? Not that I know what it means but I think it means it's better!
  15. wow - what is the fretboard on the Ritter neck? I have a significant birthday coming up but I'm pretty sure I won't get a bass!
  16. Brilliant pedals these, I'm already regetting selling mine.
  17. I was thinking about a switch for turning dry off, not enough space for a stomp switch. I looked into a filter - that was the plan originally - but unlike the boss this is a fraction bigger than 1590a and the parts you would need to hack into are smd parts under the jacks - so way too much dissasembly and risk of messing it up!
  18. if you dont mind it would be interesting to see!
  19. I know - was a bit scary modding it as if I broke it they aren’t super easy to find any more! Comparing it to Jim’s octave collection was interesting, it was most similar to the OC2 but slightly different voicing…. You ever looked inside the sonicake?
  20. Bass players are supposed to like octave right? but through the old zoom multifx I had I was always non plusesed, I liked it even less when I had a hx stomp… and my idea of a SA C4 synth pedal as the be all and end all of effects on my board came unstuck when I couldn’t get a oc2 sound I liked out of it. Don’t get me wrong, recorded and listening back it sounded great - but it felt wrong, it was something about the attack and maybe a slight latency that made things feel really staccato or something. which is fine, I don’t like octaves. I’m not mad on jazz basses either - but we are all different and like different things and that’s ok. then my friend @jimbobothy admits to being a pedal addict. Now maybe there is support groups for this but the nice thing is he’s let me try a ton of analogue octaves over the years from the first markbass raw I tried which seemed nicer than what I was getting with the C4 … and mxr vintage bass octave which I hated- but they sounded different to the digital versions… then unexpectedly won this on eBay - and it’s amazing, it sounds pretty much the same but I prefer it to the oc2 I’ve tried, it’s maybe more low mids focused, warm sounding, tracks to low D on a 5 string (!) and just lovely. and like an OC-2 - just not quite loud enough - so treating it like an oc2 I took the -2 pot off, and tied the output to ground [note if you try this the input is on the wiper, not the output like a oc2) and it’s awesome - mid point on the direct level is now unity, the -1 is louder and … well who ever uses -2 with bass anyway?! these things are mint!
  21. see
  22. you can set per preset if they should be on or off when scrolled too. check in the app
  23. The middle aisle of pedals. I bet it sounds almost identical - I think it would be as harder to design your own pedal with similar features than do a direct copy
