  1. I can see an exp input on the plus?!
  2. Make sure it’s the newer plus version with the usb host socket I think it will be able to set I two buttons to “increase preset” and “decrease preset” - what it might not do is keep count like the adafruit trinket project does
  3. Easyish this fellas code https://github.com/jacobroufa/midi_c4_preset New mvave chocolate plus should also be able to do it in terms of switching from its usb host port - but maybe not the numeric display
  4. that was actually nostalgic to look at!
  5. Be interested in what you find - for gaurenteed good There was a Spectracomp listed in the for sale forum within the last 48hr for £20 more

(I think you posted this the wrong place!)
  7. They will be in the box! I’ll post you the current doubler one
  8. they are also available pre made https://www.lfsys.co.uk
  9. if you remember my cab at the bass bash - that was essentially the bass chat 1x12 with horn
  10. nah - its like two outputs down to one output and then you use the red plug to switch polarity. Cables all colour co-ordinated
  11. to be fair to your other half amp technology has moved on a lot since the 1950's - a precision and matching jazz bass however would make more sense. If you did end up with a cioks I can post you a current doubler
  12. I bet this is the same as the vitoos in a different box https://www.thomann.co.uk/harley_benton_powerplant_iso_10ac_pro.htm?__cTr=d530aa79-340e-4666-8bde-232cd626daaf I got my Cioks secondhand for not much different in price. I based it on I would buy once and never need to change.
  13. looks good. If I wasn't buying cioks Harley Benton tends to be cheap but good for most things - 1.5A at 12v ... sounds like a pain though! is there something where you can use current doubling cables? Or space to run power to the board and split it between Mods own plug and a 9v Power supply underneath?
  14. Random thoughts here - I wonder if you could do the outside shape (the metal bit on a Gus) out of 3D printed plastic and curved and then have a rebate in it and have the “body” made out of a single (or double piece) of pickguard material - and then another rebate on the centre block
  15. Don’t be daft. They might be known by gear nerds, and maybe ‘known of’ by bass players who hang about on internet forums… but I couldn’t tell you why they were good like funkle’s video… but general bass players? Nah last month a bass player asked if I had heard of that obscure make ‘Cort’ that he had just found a bass he was interested in.
  16. the are pretty niche boutique low volume production - outside bass forums they would be unknown
  17. I think this may be my first “new” pedal … Wired in but not on the board yet!
  18. how is it still here
  19. Daft thing is if they had that not in someone else’s trade dress ild want to try that !
  20. I have been fiddling with this on my H9
  21. surprised this hasn't been snapped up
  22. Radial JDI is both good and portable… it really depends what you’re trying to do!
  23. While both being on trend the Nobel is a clean valve pre, the capo is a solid state saturation/drive pre …. What kind of thing are you after? also…
  24. Work out what you think it’s worth and stick it up for that - your “minimum price” is irrelevant to everyone but you. I tend to accept and listen to lower offers. Go low if you just want the cash but don’t be surprised if it turns up on reverb a week later with a 200% mark up! that said the great post covid price spike seems to be dying and I would question if some ‘advertised’ prices have bared much relation to sale prices. the other thing you could do, depending what it is is look round on here and reach out to people who have owned or own similar make/model basses and get their view, for instance a while back I was looking at vintage precisions and the advice and expertise of members of this forum was invaluable. there tends to be clusters of owners on here of most things
