I'm amazed no one has one!

I don't at all, but some have in the last 6 pages and I was giving them reassurance rather than them needing to have a trigger warning.

Here we go... bass geekery, lightweight basses, do I need compression?, which envelope filter and if you don't like stage clothes, jeans and t-shirt ... m

anyone on here (that isn't Quatschmacher) want to let us know how you've been getting on?

People are different - some wear stage clothes get signed, go onto fame and fortune. @Dad3353 tried it, and didn’t look so go and got run out of town accused of whatever the francophone equivalent of “tacky fake call-girl”. one gets a signature custom shop bass, the other gets nervous looks when he goes to the shops as twenty years on his neighbours remember “those fishnets”

Do you not have a tonal aim in mind? I find if I don't I faff around and chase things other people on the interweb say is good. But in my mind my ideal tones are a Warwick Hellborg preamp or a fat warm tube sound... so I go to places that get me close... and then can assess how close I've got with the compromise - otherwise I'ld just find and buy the Hellborg and a Noble or Alembic F2b or something

I’m pretty sure kiCad is the answer with the right set of libraries! have I found the right set of libraries yet…

Were you using KiCad? I loved how simple it was to learn to use but the symbol/footprint libraries seemed crazily complex to manage and find a set of things that would do what I wanted - for instance I couldn’t find a footprint for jfets that would let me do through hole or smd like you have

Not yet, the expression pedal I’ve got doesn’t work in the h9 - I was keeping the app open and simulating using it- I like the idea of a harmony thing in the pitch factor and pedal change from major to minor scale or something

I was digging into the H9 the other day - lots of fun things. Do you use expression pedal with it?

I agree, I personally don't get why a digital capture of a specific amp you own is so much better than a digital capture of a specific amp that Line6 or whoever own.
