  1. I would be impressed if that kinda detail carried through to a sim on a £130 pedal - but it wouldn't surprise me if it did I think the ebs, acoustic and markbass amps are all added after release - easy to install. Markbass through a 2x8 is a bit of an odd rig to model and I'm not quite sure what circumstances anyone would go "ooh you know what rig sound I want - a markbass through a tiny cab" but hey ho. The only thing it is missing for me is a B15
  2. Zoom have, it sounds like I remember EBS stuff sounding when I tried it in a shop once!
  3. be interesting to a b it against the hd350 model on the zoom b3n and see how far behind the zoom models are.
  4. But....Have you got an ebs modelled on the kemper?
  5. I had one of them - the Roland D-bass 210 - I'm not quite sure why I moved it on it was very impressive in the 'ultrA flat" mode. At the time I had a hellborg pre into a poweramp and a ACME B2 which again was even cleaner sounding. Sold them both and ended up with a walkabout which is like the diametric opposite of FRFR - but the MB AC combo is something I would like to try some point
  6. When did this thread get so angry?
  7. A lot of PA cabs are designed to cross over to subs. A bass cab will often go lower than a PA cab, because it's designed not to be crossed over. If you want low end then this is a good thing. Some of the nicer PA cabs discussed in this thread are designed to go lower and run without subs. This means you get a DSP controlled bottom end (more controlled than your bass cab) and the high mids/highs are coming out of a much nicer driver too compared to your Bass cab
  8. Other thing to try... set the neck pickup with no or little resonance and set a "core sound" - then set the bridge pickup with a fair bit of resonance where it sounds good - for me I end up with the neck fairly open but the bridge cut more but with a nice mid twang coming from the bridge - blend to taste
  9. ... till next month?
  10. Top tip at none on here gave. Set your two pickups freq and resonance. Then live don't touch them and just use the balance control for different sounds.
  11. I have the eq01 in my streamer - it's amazing. Aftrr a few months soaking in tone becomes simpler than with a 3 band eq
  12. surprised this hasn't sold yet!
  13. there were a set of alto powered drivers that used a eminence 3012 for a while.
  14. I don't even know what this one is but boy I bet it sounds $11000 https://www.higherfi.com/phono/koetsu-coralstone really do a group of people actually pay this kind of mental money for a hi Fi system? What exactly are they listening to on it? Some album mastered to sound good on Spotify via iPhone earbuds?
  15. My thought too. To the OP: What is your other amp ?
  16. Wow! It does seem mental. Like do the people who can afford these actually have the time to geek out on audiophile sound?
  17. Would love this - but no JB to trade
  18. Reshelling not reselling
  19. No doubt compared to reselling and custom moulds - but could comparing it to a new set of Comply foam ear buds...
  20. you bought the overwater back after all that time you spent selling it?!
  21. the guy in the video was using this stuff - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Proguard-MYO-Mould-custom-earplugs/dp/B006ZLXQ68?th=1 which is being marketed as specific for the task - i'm not sure I would want to put non made for the task stuff in my ears! I'm weighing up if it's worth trying... do I buy some of that stuff or a set of complay (sp?) foam tips?
  22. Sold it ages back. Miss it. managed to get hold of a schematic and it's not the Neve or API preamp the marketing dept suggest it is. Does sound good though
  23. How did you rate the end results?
  24. So I use UE 900s - which are good - but I've used up all the foam tips and need to get more. First any recommendations, and secondly is this man on YouTube stupid or clever?
