Funnily enough I was drawing up a shortlist for a 2x10 today and thought the Legend BP102 worth a second look, I also thought the Basslite S2010 looked interesting but is likely to be expensive over here.
hey! you 3 haven't even got a photo up on the 1x12 design thread yet and you're moving onto 2x10s??!!!

hello from Kirkstall - unless I reply from work in Rothwell!

Just traded an amp for a preamp with Ryan - brilliant guy and utterly stress free trade. cheers Ryan!
As a former Fearful and Fearless owner and a current Barefaced owner, I'd not say these cabs are terribly similar in tone, depending on the model. I have a Super Compact and Super Midget (G3). Perhaps the earlier versions and/or the Big Baby are closer, but I haven't tried those.
- you're not getting away with that mate!! come on we want more descriptions and explanations of the differences - and why you switched
I've really got to stop looking at the marketplace......
why what are you after... fancy that overwater 5 string? -
My PC cabs were built to order and delivered in three weeks. Magnificent handles too...
why mike walsh doesn't make a bigger thing of him also being an authorised Fearless/Fearful builder I don't know - the PC stuff has a great rep and you can get the Greenboy stuff made... with his v. lightweight ply and expertise - winner in my book. Admitedly my book doesn't have enough money in it to actually order one but hey ho. (and I have no idea about the handles)
I had the same setup as you dude. Sounds great on tight squeeze stages. This retro 210 gives me a hankering for tall rig again.
tc electronics being trail blazers yet again?
If your on Facebook, search out TrickyAudio https://www.facebook.com/trickyaudio?fref=ts Guy is one of the two UK registered builder for the Greenboy US Fearless range :-)
fixed for you

he's scamming you - who gets a bust guitar and before contacting the seller to send it back goes and gets a fairly expensive quote for repair?
Thank you to for the encouragement. The detailed design spec is not complete but the following are planned: 1. All Solid State with a Class D power amplifier topology. The main reason is that Class D makes for easier thermal management,.To put it bluntly it is easier to keep cool. 2. Power output a minimum of either 250 Watts Average into 8 ohms and 500 Watts Average into 4 ohms or 2 X 250 (dual mono} into 8 ohms.Output on Speakons, no jacks for speakers. 3. Pre amp section. This was designed by Charlie Escher (passinwind on TalkBass) after several months discussion between him and me. Chalie has finished his amp but is constantly refining it.There is a short thread on TalkBass about Charlie's amp here http://www.talkbass....s-head.1061473/ Like Charlie, I will be adapting the design but with his knowledge and consent. I should false emphasise that although I hade many discussions with Charlie, he did the circuit design, modelling of circuit behavior and built an tweaked the first iteration of the circuit boards. It is his design. More tomorrow
on the class D stuff.... do you know what module you're going to use? Question coming from.. they seem quite expensive to the general public.... My old Tecamp Puma 1000 used a Powersoft Digimod 1000 .... which is nice and self contained as far as I could see.... and the same module as in this £200 amp (apparently) http://www.altoproaudio.com/products/apx1000
It could be any number of things. Fit, finish etc. aside, you can't really give it a decent crack of the whip until the setup and strings are to your taste.
what wateroftyne says. also my old mountain bike is a lot "studier" than my road bike. But it's horses for courses rather than one being better or worse
An old-school valve amp is heavy. An old-school bass cab is heavy. An old-school valve combo is very, very heavy. Not measured in lbs or kilo; think moons or even small planets.
time and gravity bend around them so I hear

what's the worst thing that's happened to you onstage?
I once played in a pub in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire. The first thing that happened was a bloke at the bar threatened me because I was an English guy in his pub. Then as we played (Pogues/Goats Don't Shave/Saw Doctors type stuff) we entered into some Jigs and Reels. Apparently we played a tune that had been hijacked by Rangers fans. Next the entire audience stood up as one and started raining down beer glasses and ash trays on us. We stopped playing and hid in a small room off stage with the door barred by bouncers. We were escorted out through the mob by said bouncers and hightailing it back to Glasgow
that was the main mistake! I lived there for a while.... I once played a venue and for the first half of the song most of the band didn't play a note - I decided to sit looking cool on the edge of the stage with my back to the lighting gantry and foot propped up on a monitor, super casual and then jump up and start playing when I was due to come in.... except I came in and quickly realised that from the reclined position I was in there was no way I could get up without stopping playing and using a hand.... i spent the rest of the song sat on the floor.... -

I almost bought a rig he was selling 2 weeks ago - I ended up listening to a fair bit of stuff he had done while thinking about it - great musician

looks ok as a bass- it's not cheap mind so you might loose something if you sold it on. Check out warwick.de forum - you tend to get a large range of warwicks on there for ok prices.

If its just for you and youve got electronic drums I would have thought a half decent pre and some kind of IEM system would be great. Get the stage noise riggt down too
