  1. Unlike Quatschmacher I have no relationship with SA other than being a satisfied owner of their products... https://www.truetonemusic.com/products/source-audio-bass-zio-preamp-di-pedal

I don’t know what BYOD means but early varients we’re on diystompboxes https://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=69335.0 Another version here https://www.musikding.de/Maelstrom-Bass-Drive-kit Electronically it will be similar - I think one of the chips is hard to source (see note on Schalltechnik version) I think If you want it to be the same buy a darkglass made one.
  9. Seeing as Darkglass stuff kinda grew up in the DIY community, you could build your own? https://www.musikding.de/Guma-Antique-Overdrive-kit
  10. That’s a good idea - wish that had been around a year or so ago when I got my first board - would have been a lot cheaper than the Cioks and Voodoo lab dingbat combo I ended up with. mind you the after looking at them I am reminded that the smallish size of my board is a helpful guard from buying too many pedals

The C4 can do everything the spectrum can (and more) but I’ve set up fuzz patches with it. Both Also do octave up and down things too. what you will end up needing is something that can do midi over usb host to get at all 128 patches. I diy made something for £30 - or an adapter and a midi controller will control your two notes thing as well …
  14. C’mon man, get one bought and your video made.
  15. Stop using imperial measurements in the 21st Century then!
  16. it's one of the few itches I've not scratched bass wise - ild like too. Need to move something on to make space for it though.
