I find it very simple, and if I find it simple, trust me, it must be simple I don't look for a "neutral" sound in an amp, I look for a good sound, a sound that works well in the band and makes me smile. It's extremely simple to achieve that on the Streamliner. I'm still curious about the Veyron.
mcnach simple?
 2.
The Amp Two is a different character. Three and One are like siblings, their character is similar with the One being more portable and classic sounding, the three having more oomph and lows and a bit more treble response. Still it has the warm treble. Both have no horns or other treble speakers. The Two has a 12" and a 4", sounding more fullrange and Hi-fi. Many say it is a good match to an upright bass, but sounds superb with an e-bass nevertheless. The compressor is placed before the EQ. It has another voicing, but I can't really understand why Ed Friedland reviewed it so short in his video and only with a bass that does not show the extended upper register this combo has. And it does have more watts, also the screws around the speaker look awesome I liked it very much, but thought it was too big and heavy for my micro rig needs. direct comparison between Two and Three: - Two is substantially larger and heavier. Not really large or heavy, mind you. But still quite a difference. - Three has more punch in the bass frequencies, the two has a much more detailed and hi-fi sound - the two is a bit louder, but a more middy loudness. All AER Amps are very room filling and huge sounding, but the Three takes the crown for me in terms of sheer bassy goodness. - the Two is, to my surprise, less noisy. It's "horn" (it's not really a horn but a very small speaker) is very silent.
thanks for that Amp 2 now on my GAS list!
 3. So if they have the same amp module now what is the difference between a little mark and a big bang?
 4.
Got the Amp Three today. First impressions... - huge sound. It sounds like a full muscle amp and feels like a 212 in terms of air movement. Astonishing. Unbeievable really because it is so small. And it is that deep, full sound that so many micro amps lack. The kind of oomph you expect from much much larger and higher power rigs. This combo does NOT get its loudness via low mids and cut off bass range. So deep... crazy. And very focused and not a tad muddy down low. - the compressor is top notch. Not much else to say here, but it just works great. - it has a bit of hiss when turned loud or boosting the treble up. No other noises though, no hearable fan or anything like that. - superb sound, love the options. And just like medpb stated, quasi impossible to dial in unsusable sounds. So far I'm totally stoked.
How do you find it compares to the amp two? I'm currently trying to sell my current rig, and while I have plans to replace it with something else bigger.... I am tempted to try and find an AER amp 2 somewhere to try/buy.

 7. it's not the best website... but if you can track down Mike Walsh's number he's a pleasure to talk to on the phone.
 8.
SNAPS ADDED Christmas Price drop to £795 including mainland UK delivery, and a couple of Speaker cables. Will split
cheap as the proverbial!
 9.
Music - http://music.leeds.a...al-composition/
that's the uni, http://www.lcm.ac.uk - thats the music college. and I ask as a good friend of mine is a course leader on Leeds Beckett's equivalent course
 10. Leeds Music College, Leeds Beckett University or University of Leeds?
 11.
If the engineers at Turbosound had any input into the design the badging would be rotated 90 degrees, and the result would look like this:
Bill Fitzmaurice - cab designer, horn lover and owns a copy of photoshop
 12.
Did anyone else clock the 'Turbosound' badge on the cab..? I would like to think it's of some significance.. I've used a number of Turbo PA rigs and have to say they were pretty tasty..
I thought it was interesting, typically don't see many british designed speakers used in bass stuff
 13. british designed speakers too!
 14. which isn't to say this isn't a great bit of kit - just after playing a few rebel heads with their power management I'm kinda weary of this kinda stuff.
 15.

DYNAMIZER Power Management technology for ultimate punch and to capture every nuance of your playing

.... so a baked in compression a-la TC electronics then....
 16. review... and a gut shot too would be awesome!
 17.

can I ask what module you went with? (specs and price would be good too! )
 18. Pretty
 19. good handles on this type bump. Surprised not more interest TBH, are ACME not the flavour of the month ?
 20. a lot less heat sinking on the new one....
 21. batteries... strings should sort it.... But looking at your sig, Jazz through a EBS amp I would think has a fair amount of top end on tap..... depending what you are listening to a Humbucker like a MM pup will probably be more attenuated at the top end than a single coil like in your jazz.
 22. Ive got a 1991 SS1 and a lovely 1985 Thumb. I don't need any other basses. (well except the BB1200 I've sitting in the spare room)
 23.
Getting into the minutiae of detail - types of wood are going to affect the tone, so is the grain direction, having a nicely tight fit on the neck pocket, how the wood has been dried out, the thickness of nitrocellulose laquer, playing with sweaty palms etc. Go based on a personal preference and general consensus - I like the feel of maple necks, not keen on rosewood, jazz profile for bass and a soft V for 6 string electrics. Mahogany necks are too heavy to give a good balance on most guitars and as much as I'd love to have the time & funds to experiment with building necks from exotic woods... I don't.
Mr Les Paul must have got it wrong somewhere!!!
 24. More than the non custom Foderas... and the prices on them get people riled up on basschat more than preferential cab handles.... secondhand is the way to go!
