1. I play like me. I don't a have a problem making a groove - possibly as my first band used a drum machine so I learned that I could create the pulse by pushing and pulling. I'm not good remembering chords if you shout them out to me, I'ld need to write them down.
 2. ESP is to LTD as Fender is to Squier except with better quality control in japan obv
 3.
wateroftyne, on 15 September 2013 - 02:24 PM, said: Not much use if both of the Ampegs ain't working.Fixed
Fixed
 4.
8 days to go, and over £1200 already.
so not the worst sales technique!
 5. for the first time ever this week I've wanted a 5 song I normally play needs a G as the lowest note. Fine on a 4 string. Change key and I now need a bottom C# ... which moves everything an octave above where I would ideally play it on the 4 string.... no help at all to the OP there!
 6.
Best Shuker I've seen.
+1
 7.
I hope her new owner is giving her the love she deserves.. :-(
you sold her finally! oh.
 8.
Can't believe I haven't posted mine here yet... MESA Walkabout, 2 x 112 cabs from TKS Engineering.
never mind the rig... that bass! mmmm
 9.
TTT, had a couple of offers for postal sales but I'm still holding out for a collection, at least for the moment anyhow. Again I'm only selling it at this price as I don't like things hanging around. It is truly a high quality British handmade bass at a very reasonable price, and I also like to pass on any bargains I've had on here .
I could collect... but couldn't pay. Unless you wanted an electric guitar i've got hanging around doing bout
 10. I don't get it.... why? wasn't GB some of the best stuff out there and seems to get a lot of love on here and talkbass..... ????
 11. My streamer is about 3780g - which is about 8lb 5oz. (same as fionn's) I used to have a Peavey T40 - great bass but I remeber realising it was just under twice the weight of the streamer
 12. the bass centre (the one that used to be a shop a short walk from Liverpool st station and then went online only) have them on their website. Not sure they have them in stock or even sure if the shop is still in business.... but they are on the website
 13.
Stick a Proenza Schouler label on it and say they are branching out from handbags.
I don't even know what that is.
 14.
Flush, groan.
unintentional....
 15. i like the look of this bass.
 16.
I would be really surprised if it was an eighties bass with the clip on control plate and MEC pickups rather than EMG, i havn't seen a pre-1991 thumb without screws as i recall. My 1990 thumb definitely did, and i believe your 1992 Streamer definitely doesn't. With regards to the fretboard dots, i think that is a red herring, what with the block inlay at the bottom and all.
my streamer's a 1991 yeah - maybe you're right - I still think it would be pre1992.... can i come play it roon?!
 17.
The sink or one of the shoes?
i'm feeling flush, everything, and the kitchen sink
 18. I've just asked if I can collect it...
 19. - as if theres a shop with that many basses in leeds!
 20.
Haha, okay, i would say this would be a NAMM piece that followed the move, so winter Namm 1992
I'm going to go 89-90. Purely cos if you were taking something to NAMM you would be showing off your latest basses... which wouldn't have dots on the finger board.... that's my logic anyway.
 21.
I love trying to date basses I'm going to plump for the earlier date of my estimation, 1992.
moved factory mid 1992 init, lots of changes... You going to go early or late 1992 ? . ....Roon don't mind us, it s all bumps!
 22. about 5 years back the BBC scotland ran this really low budget program called the music show - it was amazing - everything jools isn't but used to be - a studio, a sound set up a band or two and some cameras - utterly unpretentious, utterly un showbiz and tottally about the music... later, now- has no soul.
 23. For me... really just an old Thumb bass, the first bass I got to play was a 5 string thumb so they have always been my dream bass. Like most folk I've not much money really to sink in so will rely on selling stuff first, but alas the plan to buy the awesome 1986 JD thumb I had seen fell through months ago when no one wanted anything I was selling ach well - one day, it's my 30th next year and already started priming the wife I may save up for something...... other that that I'm sorted! There is a half curiousity about other amp setup - ideally a Bergantino IP powered cab and some kind of nice preamp/DI to feed into it. That gas is tamed by.... the fact that i never see them up for sale...
Modulus Flea Bass please! I got the GAS, got the cash, but ain't got the bass
looking at your sig... all vintage fender and then a jump to a flea bass... bit of a jump in style there!
A Lake Placid Blue, matching headstock jazz bass with rosewood 'board, pearloid block inlays and cream 'board binding... Lightly relic'd.
seen the Steed Herbie Hancock bass that molan is selling at Bass Direct? YUM!
A fretless!! Recently made a fretless neck for a G&L and it got me hooked on the fretless sound and feel! Now to pick out some woods!
Dear lord, i need to be prepared for pages and pages of wood porn on the alpher facebook page then!
Tecamp Puma head and Bergantino cabs.
cool- which Puma amp would you go for? and the current ones or the powersoft ones?
 24.
the paint is too thick to make out either way, and is 9v pre luke, if you are in leeds i could bring it over for you to have a look? It does have the "monkey business" sticker on the head stock with a phone number pre "1" in the area dial code, e.g 0904 instead of 01904? Don't know if thats really relevant tho!
would I be able to find a non visible serial? Nope. Would it help your sale? Prob not, Would I like to have a play.... Yep :-)
