1. Yeah I know, would've been perfect! I'll do it if any more comes. If it was up to me, it would snow most of the time, I love it, hate the heat! Eude
 2. Jon Shuker's basic Jazz 4 strings start about £850, so he might do a 6 string for a couple/few hundred more, if you ask very very nicely. Bar that, I don't think you'll get anything in your price range except the ones you mentioned already, unless something wild comes up secondhand. Classically styled 6 string Jazzes with 18-19mm spacing are fairly rare beasts I'm afraid, usually only represented by higher end custom jobbies... Eude
 3.
How does the Low B play on the shorter scale? some recordings would go down a treat very pretty bass btw
The low B on every 33"er I've owned has been fantastic! I don't have any recordings of the new bass, flat out busy with other things, and probably will be for the foreseeable Having said that, once I clear my feet a bit, I plan to do some recordings, comparisons etc. For now though, here's 2 tunes where I used my ACG 5er (33" scale, obviously), where I venture below low a bit >> http://soundcloud.com/eudeboy/02-body-soul http://soundcloud.com/eudeboy/09-tsunami-of-soul ...and here's a recording that I did on my first 33"er, a Shuker 6 string >> http://soundcloud.com/eudeboy/junction-strut The low B on the new one seems to be the best yet, probably down to the incredibly stiff neck If you've got any other questions, feel free to give me a shout! Eude
 4.
really nice looking bass m8, and I know how great it will sound and play
Thanks Steve, but probably not with "me" playing it...
 5.
Congratulations on a truly inspiring bass, it looks magnificent!
Cheers man
 6.
The bass on the bed session.. Cannae beat it! Sublime bass
Hubba Hubba
 7. OK, I've still not had time during daylight to take some proper pics of this, lots going on at the moment, but here's some badly lit, badly taken photos to start... This bass is amazing! Eude
 8.
I find GuitarGuitar Sandberg prices to be way too high. You could potentially buy from Thomann a fair bit cheaper.
To be fair, I didn't really look at the prices, my bass guitar "perversions" preclude me from considering buying non-custom basses Eude
 9.
Yep, it's a lovely place. It's where I bought my Squier from. It's quite large, so you can generally find a quiet corner to play around in. It's not like some of those cramped places you find.
It's also nice to go into a store and be treated politely and in a friendly manner. Cracking shop
 10.
Guitar Guitar stock them. The Epsom branch might have some if you give them a ring.
Yup, was there at the weekend. They've got a few in stock, very friendly shop too, not your typical music shop
I am too lazy to read the whole thread again.... Has anyone tried the 220? If so, what's the volume ouput like?
I SAW one on Saturday, in Guitar Guitar Epsom. It looked rather nice too.... Didn't have time to try it out unfortunately, but I'll be going back in the near future, very impressive shop and very very friendly too Eude
 13.
That looks absolutely beautiful! The woods look sooooo tasty
You should see it in the flesh!...
 14.
Looks lovely dude! Great bit of kit. Reminds me of my old Overwater - Like a sexy Chocolate Digestive
Thanks man! Can't wait to get some proper pics of it to show off
 15.
Very excited now! Super happy for you! Want to see pics now
There's some in Alan's Build Progress Thread >> http://basschat.co.uk/topic/9623-acg-build-progress/page__st__1320__p__1528232#entry1528232 More to come though Eude
 16. Just thought I'd bob by to tell all that I have the bass! It's freakin' amazing too! When I see daylight, probably at the weekend, I'll get some photos taken, but it's even better than I thought it could be! Watch this space... Eude
 17.
Cheers Eude... Anything happening this weekend of interest?
Ha ha, you know there is mate
 18. Nice one Sean. That is going to be one hell of a bass! I'm looking forward to watching this one progress Eude
 19.
Just finished the grille cloth on my new Cab tonight .. I used to gig with a V4B and an old (large) 2x15, been using a small BA115 in a new band for a few months at small gigs, can't wait to rock this little set up at the weekend My entire rig is lighter than my old head. The laney cab is quite a bit lighter than spec after taking off the stupidly heavy (and IMO ugly) steel grille so retarded on a lightweight cab.
That looks THE BUSINESS mate! Well done
 20.
No idea what the current exchange rate is in squirrels although it might be more ethical to use chavs
What a marvellous idea! Eude
 21.
The next acg going to be Auntie, Cousin, Gran?
No grandparents left I'm afraid, but there's loads of grey squirrels, and foxes on our estate... How many squirrels do you reckon it would take?
 22.
Lol. My gran funded the last Roscoe. I'm thinking 3 kittens should cover the outstanding owed on this one...
You've just given me a truly horrible idea of how to get me some more basses...
 23.
If I want something new now, other things have to be sacrificed...
That's sounds a little sinister...
