1. Ooooh.... Very nice dude, can't wait to hear the specs! For the record, I thought your last one was gorgeous, although it might have been a bit heavy. Keep us posted. Cheers, Eude
2.
If the Jazz body's still available I might be interested.
Hey man, Warpig has first dibs on the body, I need to get some proper pics of it first too, which should happen this weekend. If he doesn't want it though, you're next in line. Hope that's cool... Eude

RIP Leftysteve

That's really sad. My condolences to all his family and friends.
4. Awesome dude. Is the wenge doing what it said on the tin? I mean growl-wise by the way... Oh and what body depth did you go for in the end and how's it feel compared to a beefier bass? Cheers dude and congrats! Eude
5.
Hi Eude, any chance of posting some pics of the body please, mainly any marks, im always interested in a new project. Maybe interested in the pickups too.
Hey man, tried to take some pics of the bass body but not had any joy. I'm not in the flat during day light this week, so I can't get any decent photos, not enough light to shoot without a flash and if you do you just get glare back from the gloss black finish. I've given it a good once over and there's very minimal damage to the front at all, bar a few very light scratches and a tiny ding near the bottom strap button. There's some bigger scratches on the back, but none are through the paint. I'll try and get some photos out door over the weekend, if that's cool. Run into a slight problem though, you may have noticed I've stated the screws from the neck plate is knackered, well, I've managed to get it stuck in the body with the black headstocked neck I bought from you a wee while ago on it. I'm going to speak to some of the DIY experts at work, to see what I can do about it, I'd happily bung the neck in too fro free if it's something you can deal with yourself of course. The pickups are basically new, they even still have the sticky plastic on them, I can get picks of them over the weekend too though. Sorry about the delays... Cheers, Eude
6. Any news on this dude? Been a while... Cheers, Eude
7.
Hi guys, Haven't had a chance to take any pics yet, but will do tonight. Suffice to say that Jon Shuker is a genius. This thing is exactly what I wanted. Sounds awesome and plays even better. I'm already planning number 2 - one I won't be afraid to take out of the house! Cheers Ian
Nice one Bigwan, can't wait to see the pics! I feel exactly the same about taking my single cut out, which is why I commissioned what I've called my "Pub Bass"... Cheers, Eude
8.
Hi Eude, any chance of posting some pics of the body please, mainly any marks, im always interested in a new project. Maybe interested in the pickups too.
Will do mate. I'll get them done tomorrow night. Cheers, Eude
9. Bulk of the stuff sold, thanks to those who got in touch and those who made purchases Still got the EMG Select Jazz Bass Pickups and the Jazz Bass body to go. I can sort out pics of these two items if anyone is interested. Cheers, Eude
10. Nice one dude! Congrats, looking forward to seeing another ACG come to life Cheers, Eude
11. Just bought a 21ft Monster Cable of Chris. Really friendly and helpful guy to deal with. He kept hold of the lead for me till I got paid, which was cool. The lead is in perfect nic as described and posted out well packaged up and rather promptly too. Cheers Chris!
12. Some interest in some bits, but I'd still rather sell it all in one go if at all possible. Like I said I'll be out of contact till the 15th, so if anyone posts or PMs I won't be able to get back to you till then. If nobody is interested in the job lot by then, I'll sort it out with the folks who have been in touch so far. Cheers, Eude
13. Hey guys, Just a quick feeler here to see if there's interest. I've got quite a few bass bits I'd accumulated hoping to put together a parts cheapy beater Jazz Bass, but I just don't have the time or the inclination just now and they're cluttering up my flat. I'm away on holiday from 12:00 pm tomorrow till the 15th, so I'll get pics and the likes up after then if anyone is interested... So here's what I've got >> [s]Black Vester Jazz Bass Body[/s] - SOLD Fits standard 4 bolt neck joint Standard Jazz Shape in every way Some scratches, but nothing deep, 5/10 condition [s]Maple on Maple P Bass Neck from Dangleberry Music[/s] - SOLD Never used, no holes drilled Tiny scratch on the headstock, 9.5/10 condition [s]Vester Jazz Bass Rosewood on Maple Neck[/s] - SOLD Used condition 5/10 [s]EMG Select Jazz Bass Pickups[/s] - SOLD Older model with the italic style logo Unused condition 10/10 [s]Gotoh 201 Bridg[/s]e - SOLD In Gunmetal (almost black) Unused condition 10/10 [s]Vester Bent Metal Plate Fender Rip Off Bridge[s] - SOLD Chrome Used condition 6/10 [s]4 in-line Wilkinson Cloverleaf Tuner[/s] - SOLD Black Unused condition 10/10 [s]4 in-line no-name Cloverleaf Tuner[/s]s - SOLD Unused by me, but secondhand, 6/10 [s]Black String Tree[/s] - SOLD Unused 10/10 [s]Vester Neck Plate and Screws[/s] - Destroyed Chrome 1 screw a bit knackered Used condition 6/10 Think that's about it. My hope is that someone interested in building might take the job lot in one go. Not sure of what it's all worth, was thinking maybe about £120 + P&P? Obviously, it might be a big package, so pickup or meeting halfway with petrol costs might be more sensible, however, I did post a massive Trace Elliot amp using APC Overnight for a surprisingly low price last year. I'd rather not split, as it's a load of stuff, but if there's no interest I might be persuaded. If you want to get hold of me you've got till 12 tomorrow, failing that, I'll answer any questions etc. on the 15th. Cheers, Eude
14.
Very nearly there! Only fitting the pots left to do. Should be in my grubby mits soon! I'm drooling here... More pics. The last one's were a bit light, these may seem dark in comparison, but the colour in these is closer to what I was after:
That's gorgeous mate! The wait is nearly over Eude
15. Do a search on ebay for headless bass, there's a few affordable ones on there. This really caught my eye too >> http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Gordy-Headless-Bass-...id=p3286.c0.m14 Apparently made by a sister company to Gordon Smith Guitars in the 80s. Gordon Smith Guitars are great, never seen a bad one, so this might be a bit of a bargain... Cheers, Eude
16. I'm totally GASing for a Twin Valve Head at the moment, but you don't see them around very often! Anyone know if anyone makes anything similar these days? Eude
17. WOW! That is absolutely gorgeous mate, congratulations! Eude
18.
Hi Eude, yes, it is. I ordered it as rough slaps via a German importer of woods. You can't imagine how much laquer the buckeyed burl took to be completely covered. It was like a sponge. Here are some more pics of the actual process of putting the bass together - among other customer projects (Kundenprojekte): http://www.holz-faszination.de/home/node/44 BTW Jens Ritter from Ritter Basses also orders his veneers and woods there. tc Oliver
Thanks for info dude! That's one gorgeous bass, I feel my Wal GAS building... Cheers, Eude
19.
Mine will have a dark top when its finsihed! Asian Striped Ebony - which looks like this so far (if we're allowed to post unfinished Shukers!):
Hot Damn!
20. Very nice dude. This is going to be one beautiful monster of a bass! Cheers, Eude
21.
Well, well - great pics of great basses! I just happened to take some more recent ones of mine (check my signature for exact data): tc Oliver
Wow! That single pick up 4 string fretless, with, is it buckeye, top on it? That is gorgeous! Anymore info on it? Eude
22.
ha ha ha ha ha!!! Nooooo -hhhhh'way!!!! Yeeee haaa gWasshoppa!!
Well if it helps, I was out for several drinks the other night with one of my old pals, a drummer who I used to play with. He's in the process of getting some old videos of our original band digitised, including one of us jamming in my parents living room back when we where all 13 - now that will be embarrassing! I'll probably have to put up some screen grabs from it once it's done... Cheers, Eude
23. Gorgeous mate! Can't wait to see it finished. Eude
24.
All I used to get at school! - I didnt realise that back then I had a very embarassing Ralph Macchio 'Karate Kid' hair cut. I can't believe I have just shared that.
Come one man, we gotta see pics of Dood Macchio Eude
25.
Pah I was expecting more pics!!
Hopefully get some for the weekend. "Patience Danielsan, Patience..." Eude
