  1. What about this? https://www.guitarsoundsystems.com/gss-1000w-sumo-guitar-bass-power-amp-c2x23791314 I doesn't look like it has a fan at all!
  2. Congratulations, that is absolutely stunning!
  3. It's an incredible looking wood. I went for a bit of it on my fretless 6er. Same accent veneer like yours, and I went for a BIG chunk of it in the middle of the neck and also mixed up in the fretlines too. >>
  4. Where'd you order it from, or are you outside of the UK? Edit: Scratch that, just looked at your profile, "US via Croydon". I got stuck at Croydon 😎
  5. Hot Damn that is incredible!
  6. No, sadly. There was a Harley Benton one, just the same but possibly lower quality that came out last year that did, same format, but it seems to have vanished from the Thomann site.
  7. I've got one of these and it's not bad at all. https://m.mooeraudio.com/product/Audiofile--47.html Of course, if my Sansamp had a headphone out, it wouldn't be necessary, but it does sound pretty good.
  8. So SO nice. I had my Salace E Type out for a thrashing this week trying out my new GK head. They're amazing basses, I'll bet you can hardly wait!

    Jazz

Can I play? Yesterday was a fairly jazzy day for me too. (My ACG RetroB 31.5" 5er) Eude
  10. Oooooooft, I'll be very keen to hear how it compares. I would love to try the Deluxe Bass Muff but it's just too darned big! Colour me very interested... Eude
  11. Yup, the nasty, basic italic sans serif font completely spoils the look, why on earth they didn't just ape the style of the old Trace stuff I have no idea. Given how long this has taken to appear, you'd think they could have spent another day on the graphics...
  12. Wow! That is incredible!

    ACG build

Also, has that been routed for MC pups and the full 5K DFM preamp?...

    ACG build

That is going to be laaavly @ead No trouble from me, promise, I very much owe you another email too! Nice tweaks to the Krell there, I've always wondered what it would look like a little more curvaceous. Watching with intent... Eude

  17. Withdrawn Ultra High Gain Distortion Pedal from TC Electronic, now discontinued and hard to come by. A couple of scratches but in pretty good condition. Troy from Mastodon seems to like it >> Here's an overview of the pedal >> £40 collected, or £47 shipped UPS within the UK. Thanks for looking! Eude
  18. The "e500" logo is remarkably pants too.
  19. Holy crap! And, I very much concur with your statement above.
  20. I should add, if you are interested int he Grail shortscale, I would just give Ashdown a shout directly, they can let you know where there is stock. They seem to allow you to spec and buy on their site direct >> https://ashdownmusic.com/products/the-grail-short-scale They're also promoting the model on Instagram currently too... https://www.instagram.com/p/CZY2s36setL/?utm_medium=copy_link
  21. There's the Ashdown Grail, which comes in short flavour. These were designed with Dan Lakin, so probably pretty darned good basses >> https://ashdownmusic.com/products/the-grail-short-scale
  22. @skelf at AC Guitars has been building a bass along these lines, might be worth a chat?
  23. I've not tried the MarkBass but I'm utterly astonished with the sound and weight that comes from the Barefaced One10. I expect the NY 112 will be a little more solidly built, but the One10 is lighter and smaller, so it's easier to be more careful with it.
